Your suggestions are remarkably precise and very impressive.
Very much appreciated Mrs. Liu! 🙏
Hey, I recently got into CE and I'm kind of in a dilemma with picking between it and UTSG CS. Based on your experience, how has CE been, would you recommend it? How difficult was finding your first coop, and do you have any tips on what I should do to prepare for first year if I do attend? Thanks, and great video!
UW CE > UTSG CS.
First co op was difficult.
I’d recommend doing like cs studying like programming in C++. Do internships for free for startups as well.
@@jlau04 Thanks! Also, how do you feel about all the hardware courses you have to take? Do you enjoy them, and do you have time to work on side projects on top of the heavy course load?
Side projects kinda tough to find time and the hardware courses were aight but it’s just personal preference tbh
new upload!

would you say that the skills section of the resume is not that helpful since all you're doing is listing skills and not proving or showing the recruiter how you u have or developed those skills? would it be okay if the skills section was completely omitted out of the resume? is the skills section only useful if you are actually proficient in a specific programming language or software? and why would the skills section go above experience, projects, and awards? sorry for bombarding you with questions lol these are just some thoughts i had. also i rlly enjoy watching your videos they r super entertaining and helpful!
No worries for asking all of these questions! The skills section is in my opinion a must have because recruiters just look for key words for technologies that a candidate might know, and it makes it easy to see if you’re familiar with their tech stack. That’s why you should put it at the very top cause it’s essentially a summary of the core technical skills that you know before they get into the details of what you actually did with those skills. Thanks for watching!
I think uoft is much better. Waterloo is overrated. I would never go there. I don't think you are correct
