Spotting can be very common. Try not to stress. When I was about 6 weeks I had a lot of spotting I got checked it looked fine over Christmas it was so bad I had to wear a pad. My baby is here alive and healthy. It could be nothing. Don’t stress until you can get checked.

Yeah my mum was spotting with me until she was almost 6 months and they suggested it was from stress.. please try to take some time to rest and relax ❤️❤️

Spotting can be normal especially after a long day of sitting or standing. I had it after a 3 hour drive to the beach. It passed. She’s 41😊. Rest, stay well hydrated and you will know if it’s anything to worry about.

I didn't find out I was pregnant until 14 wks. I had issues during the first 3 mons and was at doctors offices, but was never tested and didn't know what to look for since it's my first child. At week 15, I had bleeding one evening that was more than just spotting, but there was still a heartbeat and I now have a beautiful 3 month old baby girl. I'm not a doctor, but I would say don't stress it too much. If you have a doppler and can hear the heartbeat, you're ok. If you don't have one, I'd buy one. They're amazing!

I did lose my first pregnancy ( early on). Then had my first live birth. Then bled pretty heavy with my second live birth until about 12-16 weeks. Then it stopped. Then it started back at about 30 weeks, then stopped. Then returned ( heavily!)….She was a 10 &1/2 lb. Baby! She just turned 27!! I still think she is a miracle!! It can happen and still be ok….please do take it easy just in case! I will keep you in my prayers 💜🙏🏼💜Positive thoughts and best wishes!!💜🙏🏼💜

This is my 2nd pregnancy, at about 9 weeks I woke up to bleeding and clots coming out, rushed to the hospital thinking the worst. I never had anything like that with my first one, turned out I had a very small hemorrhage and a old blood clot in my uterus. Baby was perfectly fine but I did get put on bed rest and can not carry my 2 year old at all. A couple weeks ago I had slight spotting again and cramping on and off. My doctor told me pregnancies are always going to be different. I’m about to be 17 weeks and baby is growing perfectly. I’ve tried not to stress about it but it is scary too but I get reassured from my doctor

  • @KittyKatRiot
    @KittyKatRiot 2 года назад

It is very common for women to spot while pregnant. If you aren't having any clotting, pain, cramping, etc. I wouldn't worry but I think you are doing the right thing keeping your doctor posted. You can always call an on call nurse to talk to too when the office is closed.

Spotting is very common is the first Trimester (This is when the developing embryo plants itself in the wall of your womb). I’ve had spotting during my second pregnancy & mine was due to a very bad water infection. Try not to stress or worry but if your that concerned & worried go see your doctor and they will do a ultrasound scan to put your mind at ease. Hope everyone is doing well 🥰💕🌈. Lots of loves and hugs to u all

I had a subchorionic hematoma with 2 of my pregnancies and I was bleeding, not just spotting the first time around from weeks 12-15. I just had to go on pelvic rest for a little and then I was on a lift restriction just to be safe. Both of those babies are happy and healthy children now!

Anytime you every bleed or spot it never hurts to go get checked out and put your mind at ease....Don't Google it will make you stress more....I did the same thing and they said because your cervix the veins are engorged from all the extra blood flow that sitting down leaned over can put pressure on your uterus which could put pressure on your cervix. They would tell me to lay down for an hr drinking water and it would stop...But far most try not to stress especially without cramping is a great sign and with the bleeding not getting even heavier...I had 6 miscarriages I know what all could be going through your mind, but just remember babies really don't like stress..I'll be praying for peace and comfort over you and the healthy growing blessings in your womb!!!

I am 18 weeks and had spotting on and off since the start. I had a small break around week 10 until week 12-13 and it started back up again which seems to be a common time that a lot of pregnant women start spotting. My OBGYN couldn't find any cause and just told me that brown spotting is better than red. Baby is healthy and everything is looking perfect. Not currently spotting which has been so nice!!

Spotting can be very normal. My sister had some complications that made her very worried throughout her pregnancy. She gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl.
That being said, to ease her own mind, she rented the Doppler fetal heartbeat monitor and every time she started to worry, she would listen to the heartbeat to reassure herself of her baby growing. She rented it until she could actively feel the baby moving. Just a thought to ease your mind. Prayers for you all.

Oh my gosh Jess please don't think it's anything you did or didn't do. They all say that if you exercise or do something special prior to your getting pregnant it's all perfectly fine your body has done this before and knows what you need and how to handle these issues . You are an intelligent woman and know your limitations because so thankfully you are very in tune with your body! I know it's so much easier for us to say don't stress about it but truly is what of course you should try to do. Don't worry til it's time to worry because you don't want any undue stress over not stressing! I wish you a healthy happy pregnancy and the great care you're taking of your precious cargo!

I had spotting on and off in the first trimester also. Very common from what I was told. I found if I did too much it would happen but was also told it's just all the extra just coming out of our bodies. Doesn't hurt to get checked out but don't stress, lots of other women experience this too and everything turns out okay, not always the worse case scenario.

I spotted in early pregnancy with my first, not at all with my second, and end of the first trimester/beginning of second trimester with my third. I'm sure everything is fine. If it's gets heavy or you have strong cramps, call your OB and while you spot, rest and reach out to friends or family for help during this season when you need to take it easy. Remember they're there for you and probably want to help in any way they can because they love you guys!

With my first I BLED until about 19 weeks, there was a point where I passed a tennis ball sized clot, but they did bloodwork on me every week and put me on pelvic rest...Baby girl will now be 2 next Wednesday 💜
I also bled with my son from 7-15 weeks, he'll be 5 months this Friday 💙 keep your head up mama, listen to your body, consult your Doctor, and GET SOME REST. ❤️

Praying for you! I know it's easier said than done but please try not to worry. With all 4 of my pregnancies I experienced some level of spotting/bleeding. With my 3rd it was very heavy (more than a period) for the entire 1st trimester. I almost didn't even go back for my 12/13 week appointment because I was sure I had miscarried. I went but I wouldn't even let my husband go with me. I knew it wasn't going to be good news and I just wanted to cry alone. I was completely surprised to see little arms and legs moving all over the place. I cried but it was happy tears for sure! He's 15 now. 💙
Just try to rest whenever you can and don't over do it. I know it's hard with little ones and everything else you have going on. You gotta take care of yourself too, mama. Little Johnny Zeppelin is gonna be just fine! Much love to you all!

Spotting is definitely common honey. Beings that each pregnancy is going to be different, our bodies are going to change and acclimate differently. Having had five pregnancies myself, I would say try not stress about it. Slow down a little bit, maybe tone down the workouts just for right now, as your body continues to transition from first to second trimester. Prayers for strength, comfort, peace, and health going out for today sweet girl 😊

Taking it a little easy is one of the best ideas. Your hormones are strong though, and that baby is a kicker. I had placenta previa in my last pregnancy and had to have bed rest a few weeks til it resolved. Likely it's just a little breakthrough spotting and will resolve itself. But I will pray for you and your little one. God bless you.

  • @cleopatra316

Definitely praying for you guys but believing the baby is happy and healthy! Could be a sensitive cervix/hematoma or just overdid it like you suggested. Always trust your instincts and even if it's just for peace of mind, head to the er for that Ultrasound. I'm 12 weeks with my 2nd pregnancy, (due March 12th) but with my daughter I didn't have any spotting or bleeding until 12 weeks exactly. Then I had a day and a half of pretty decent bleeding. I was convinced I was losing my baby (but I didn't have any cramping/headaches, etc). Got in to the docs office and they couldn't find the source of it, but the the baby was moving and dancing as happy as could be. The bleeding stopped and it didn't come back.
It's so bizarre how different every pregnancy can be from person to person but also your own, from kid to kid. My current pregnancy is exactly opposite of my last in literally every way 😅 Wishing you guys all the best. Thanks for being so vulnerable with us all 💜

If this helps ease your mind, during my entire first pregnancy I bled and then with my 3rd, which dont get scared on this next part, i spotted often ,which come to find out it was the placenta detaching and ended up having my son at 26 weeks due to uterine rupture as well. My son spent 6 months in nicu but once he came home, he thrived so much and here he is almost 17 next month! So there's sunshine in the end of darkness. This comment section makes me so happy. Congratulations on the awesome, positive community yallve grown. 💕 I hope everything is okay with the baby, you guys. But as others have said, spotting is fairly common in pregnancies. That doesn’t mean it isn’t scary, though, and you should definitely see about visiting your doctors more frequently if it worries you to the point of constant stress and/or if they recommend it themselves. Please take care and maybe slow down a bit more during the day! Of course that’s hard to do with two little ones running around, but this may be a good lesson to teach them and your body has been telling you since the beginning that you need to be less active during this pregnancy. Listen to it.

Hi Jess! I am currently expecting my first child - a baby boy! :) Back when I was weeks 5 and 6 I had some spotting and I had to start taking some shots up until week 12, but… my case is different. I am sharing this because I know how stressful it can be, especially when you don’t expect it and when you have never experienced it before. Try to stay as calm as you can and try not to get worried before having a definite answer from the doctor. Please keep us posted. Sending you hugs and positive thoughts! :)

I had no bleeding during my first pregnancy but did during my second. I was around 10 weeks when I had quite a bit of bleeding. I went in for an ultrasound and was told that I had blood pooled in my uterus. They had no idea why and sort of shrugged at me. They sent me off with, "you might be fine, you might be miscarrying" I was a wreck. I gave birth early at 35 weeks, he was early, but perfectly healthy. Good thoughts, all will be well. ❤ I know it's so hard not to worry.

As a preschool/daycare teacher, I would recommend 3 days a week for Paige to go, especially if she’s not used to being away from you all. Only one day a week will be like starting new each time and it will likely take a very long time for her to get used to. I’ve seen it stress lots of kids and parents out, but something more consistent is easier to get used to. I’m sure she’ll do very well, whatever you decide. She seems very advanced already.

I just loved spending times with them that were not a big rush. They are grown now and I just can't believe where the time goes. You probably hear that a lot.."it goes so fast", it's sooo true. Enjoy the moments for sure. Take it slower Jess and get peace of mind from your Doctor on Monday when they come back. The good thing too is that if the clothes are still in good condition you can pass it down to the littlest one to top up her wardrobe. Given how vascular the entirety of the reproductive system is, spotting throughout pregnancy is EXTREMELY common!
Its so unnerving to experience, and so hard not to worry, but generally speaking it happens!
As you said, cramping or more consistent bright bleeding is cause for being checked, but I will say that something a lot of people don't know about are subchorionic bleeding. This bleeding can mimic more serious conditions but does not actually indicate anything wrong with baby and just needs rest.
Remember to take moments to yourself to just breathe when you feel nervous. You're doing wonderful

Ive been having the same issue!! I'm 17 weeks and been spotting for 3 weeks on and off now. My Dr can't find anything wrong and baby is a little jumping jellybean on ultrasound with a strong heartbeat. This is baby 4 for me and I've never experienced this before and have been wishing to talk to someone who's been through this too it's nice to see the comments and know I'm not the only one ❤

I usually buy tunic type shirts for my daughter when she was younger because she has a chubby belly. But she's turning 9 this year and and her belly is not as chubby, but she still likes the oversize style tops but she doesn't need it as much. My kids start late Sept. so we haven't done back to school shopping because its still really hot and it will still be hot for a while when school starts but I prefere to do fall back to school shopping because it just makes more sense to me, we have 4 kids in school and a baby that also needs some new clothes so its gonna be fun and needs to be broke up into parts to get everything new shoes and all.

I had an anembryotic pregnancy in between my son and daughter. When I was pregnant with my daughter (8 weeks) I woke up to a gush and prayed it wasn’t blood but it was. I woke up my husband crying thinking we were losing again. I went to the ER alone because my son was sleeping. Thankfully my sweet girl was totally fine and they said it was probably just a fibroid or something (which I had never had in my life).

I've always loved Old Navy and they have some really great sales for adults and kids in the reduced rack section. I used to go there all the time looking for clothes but sometimes it's for the previous season so I would just get a bigger size and put it away until the next season came. I would get really cute shirts for like $1.50-$2.00 for kids. You can't go wrong. If you catch a sale on those it's cheaper than the Walmart Garanimals tops and bottoms. If you notice the spotting after workouts I would just pull back on that. You guys are always so busy, it would stink if you got put on bed rest. I know people who have had spotting during pregnancy and that is basically what their Dr told them to do. Take it easy, no heavy lifting and very light exercise or none at all. Your ultrasound looked really good so that is a very good thing.

Spotting can be common, I wouldn’t be too concerned Jess, might just need some more rest you have been quite busy lately. Will be thinking of you. And I would assume that they wouldn’t be posting especially on premiere if it was anything more serious 🤞

With my first and second baby I didn't have any spotting or anything. I'm pregnant again I'm 18 weeks now. I also had spotting at 8 or 9 weeks. And it went away. When I was 16 weeks I had the worst bleeding I was alot I sat on the toilet it the blood was running out like water. I emediatly went to the doctor. I had a big scare, I thought I was have a miscarriage, but there was no cramping or anything. The baby is fine. We don't know were the blood came from. After that I was so scared, but I went to the doctor yesterday and everything is perfect with the baby.

I spotted at 14 weeks, had an emergency scan and nothing was seen, Bub was still wriggling, no sign of where the bleed came from. It happened again at 28 weeks but I could feel Bub being normal and never went to the doctor for it. Bub is now 5mo 💕 Still no idea why I bled.

I LOVE THE HABIT... AHI STEAK sandwich ask for Sourdough bread... VERY Tasty... The one order of 1/2 fried green beans 1/2 order of sweet potatoes fries Yummmmmmy 😋
P.S. Jess you should let your OB know about your spotting to be safe...
I did have spotting (pinkish discharge not bright red) in my first trimester & was put on bedrest with legs elevated... No heavy lifting or activities for 2 weeks & it went away & I gave birth to a very healthy, happy baby girl 8 months later... I've been praying about you for the past few days for the days since hearing this on Instagram...
Surprised your Dr didn't recommend you to stop your work out for a couple of weeks... No need to risk with you slight symptoms...
    HUGS & CONTINUED PRAYERS 🙏❤️💙💖💖...💙🧸...💖🧸???
P.S.S.... Very cute school cloths haul...
I would consider Paige to Preschool as her vocabulary & putting full sentences together way sooner than at Micah's age... So encouraging her to move along with school would be a VERY GOOD IDEA... ❤️🤗

I had a subcorionic hemorrhage starting about 12/13 weeks. It lasted for 2 months. Baby was fine. Doc wasn't concerned. It was just from the placenta. Try to rest and I hope you get checked and feel reassured soon.

Breathe! My 2nd pregnancy, I had spotting at the same time you are. What caused mine was my dog stepped on me and it caused a blob! It did eventually go away but I did think I was having a miscarriage. I went into the ER after I called my OBGYN on call doctor and from there had a good pregnancy moving forward. I would so call your OBGYN or go to your Labor and Delivery department at the hospital and ask them.

as long as you are not having any cramps or contractions you should be ok. some women have some spotting with their pregnancy. Plus this being your third; and no two pregnancy is the same. It could be coming from your workout that you did. Also you are busy with the moving into your gorgeous new home. just take it easy and please rest Jess. lots of rest for you and baby#3. check with your doctor. sending tons of love to y'all from Texas. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

I had three pregnancies and three healthy babies. My second one I spotted a little, but I believe it was a little later on in the pregnancy. My Dr. told me to take it a little easy, no vacuuming, etc. He did end up being born 5 weeks early and spent 2 weeks in the hospital before he could come home, (he's about to turn 33 and is healthy) My last pregnancy was perfect (and totally different) and resulted in a large baby boy, born ON his due date. I had three boys and the first two pregnancies were about the same the last one was completely different, but I had all boys.

I had spotting with my first born. I had a few actually fron 6 week up to 12 weeks and one if the things the Dr told me was if the blood comes put dark it old blood and there is nothing to worry about as long as there ji cramps. If the blood it red and bright and in big amounts with cramps then it best to go to the hospital if he was not open. Try no to stress about it. Could be the workout. Praying for a healthy pregnancy 🙏 m

I'm sure everything will be ok Jess :) I bled too around 8ish weeks, and I have a healthy happy 7 year old now. It was something called subchorionic hematoma. It went away on its own and pelvic rest was recommended for the rest of my pregnancy. Other than that, everything turned out fine and I was able to carry on normal life and carry to full term. You've got this!

I’ve glanced through several comments and there were a few mommas out there that had this happen to them also, but I went zero to 100 with extreme cramping and bleeding (fairly heavy) at 11 weeks with my 3rd pregnancy and I had a subchrionic hemorrhage. I bled for several weeks after that. I’m currently 24 weeks with baby number 3 and finally not bleeding anymore. I have no confirmation of this, but I’ve suspected that I was pregnant with twins and the hemorrhage was my body’s way of passing the second baby. After taking several weeks to take it easy and make sure I was taking my prenatal, and eating well and drinking lots of water, my body is progressing through this pregnancy well and baby is doing great. Hang in there. Everything will happen the way it’s supposed to! Hope to see a positive update to this video soon!
