Thanks for the entire series; I'm sorry to say I keep missing your Wednesday streams in the last year but I try to make it as often as I can. I'm also glad you decided to make videos like this that help lower-ranked players like me.
I beat someone at my local club that usually gives me 3 stones because of these videos! (At least, I attribute the win to these videos.) Please keep the basic series going! Heck, an even more basic series would be awesome; stuff like "Basic shapes: Why they are good and bad" etc. For example, I know knight's moves and 1-point jumps are good, I know bamboo joints are strong and empty triangles are bad. I know that 2 point jump on the third line in a 4-4 approach joseki to "make a base" is good, but I'd LOVE to hear WHY these are good/bad! How does that make a base? How or why can/can't it fail? As a new player, I hear "that's a good shape" and nod my head, but no one ever explains how or why it's good!
Would you be able to message me or can I message you? I am wondering about having you play a game with these “basic ideas” to explain because the computer I play makes good shape (in my eyes. I’ve been playing a while but haven’t made great progress in the game)
I really love how happy you are when your opponent reads correctly.
I love this series. It's so helpful for thinking about how to play more solidly
These videos should come out faster this month. Just been busy with moving prep lately >> Sorry about that!
We are all humans.
These episodes have helped me a great deal , thanks
The invasion at about 30:00 sure seemed like it involved fighting and reading :)
Woohoo, new basic episode! :) Thank you! :D
That zika-virus comment feels out dated and current at the same time while watching these during corona situatuon.
I found this game particularly interesting. Thank you
You're amazing, dwyrin! Thanks for all the lessons.

by 33:17 why is G14 better than F15 since F15 starts a ladder?
He covers it in review. Ladder looks like it works but actually doesn't :)
After white's move at b7(empty Triangle), would'nt Black be able to kill Top Left Corner with b5?

Thank you for this video. I hope that it will encourage me to play less poorly. #sdk_plateau
