For those who wish to know First-degree murder - Any intentional murder that is willful and premeditated with malice aforethought. Felony murder, a charge that may be filed against a defendant who is involved in a dangerous crime where a death results from the crime, this is typically first-degree. Second-degree murder - Any intentional murder with malice aforethought, but is not premeditated or planned. Voluntary manslaughter - Sometimes called a crime of passion murder, is any intentional killing that involves no prior intent to kill, and which was committed under such circumstances that would "cause a reasonable person to become emotionally or mentally disturbed". Both this and second-degree murder are committed on the spot under a spur-of-the-moment choice, but the two differ in the magnitude of the circumstances surrounding the crime. For example, a bar fight that results in death would ordinarily constitute second-degree murder. If that same bar fight stemmed from a discovery of infidelity, however, it may be voluntary manslaughter. Involuntary manslaughter - A killing that stems from a lack of intention to cause death but involving an intentional or negligent act leading to death. A drunk driving-related death is typically involuntary manslaughter (see also vehicular homicide, causing death by dangerous driving, gross negligence manslaughter and causing death by criminal negligence for international equivalents). Note that the "unintentional" element here refers to the lack of intent to bring about the death. All three crimes above feature an intent to kill, whereas involuntary manslaughter is "unintentional", because the killer did not intend for a death to result from their intentional actions. If there is a presence of intention it relates only to the intent to cause a violent act which brings about the death, but not an intention to bring about the death itself. Hope this has helped someone
Whenever I heard 1st degree murder and/or second degree in a TV program or something, I wondered what the difference was and thought I should google it, but I always ended up forgetting to do so... Your comment was very interesting and you made it easy to understand the differences between all terms ! Thank you so much ! 😊
@@KDAEniah An interesting, but rather unknown precedent, about what constitutes 1st Degree Murder with "malice aforethought" is that the "aforethought" can be as close as 1 second prior to the killing of the individual. As long as the prosecution can prove that this was a desirable outcome and a planned event, it falls into that category. A lot of people think you have to think about it for weeks or months. That just isn't the case. :)
@@LunaticSoldiers but how do you commit murder without thinking about it a second beforehand?? Unless you're like just not in control of your body that's not possible right?
@@menacingjack Most examples in the real world are a result of passion crimes, i.e. killing someone who is verbally assaulting you with racial remarks, catching a spouse cheating and killing them both, etc. It's almost equally as hard for the prosecution to lay out the evidence needed to prove that you were thinking about committing the murder at the time it happened. They can't just say "well obviously they did it so they were thinking about it" - even if it is obvious that is the case, we have to have evidence to prove it.
Gameplay aside, it's kinda weird that there's this killer here that hears the recorder and sees the light and be like "okay let's kill this dude" and then once we turn everything off and hide he be like "welp he's gone now, imma go somewhere else" lol
Well I feel like it's because the killer might be wary of you are waiting for him somewhere as he would have the disadvantage, without being able to suprise you but if you are at your desk and the light is on, the killer can get you and suprise you instead.
The "killer" is unfortunately misunderstood, he is just concerned about the oxygen levels in the room and comes to reopen the window every time you close it. Ungrateful bunch :(
Only at 16:43 into video atm, but I'm glad Insym had the same thought as me. All the clues (including the date on wall board and time on clock) matched his character, I was waiting for an auto death.
I had this in the background while I was playing a game and 20:20 got my attention immediately lol. Fast footsteps happening when they shouldn't terrifies me. Didn't help it was super loud XD
Not related to the game but I would absolutely love it if you replayed the Welcome to the Game series! I found your channel through Phas so I never got to watch you play it on stream, but I’d honestly give those games (along with FNAF) credit for really getting me into indie horror
You should do a welcome to the game walkthrough where you break down the absolute basics of the game and you do a step by step of what certain things mean, game events, etc. would really be helpful for newbies to the series :)
Pretty cool game series! The not guilty thing drove me crazy. I kept looking around the room for a way to figure out what else I was getting wrong. What a twist.
22:32 that's Zdzisław Beksiński's painting. He was one of the best and most popular polish artists. I highly recommend checking out his work! Sadly, Beksiński was stabbed to death in 2005
This game started off at an 11/10 on the scale of intensity! I honestly think that is one of the fastest times Insym has ever died in a horror game lol. Also, Insym did extremely well after the first death. Also also, the killer in this game is fucking stupid. Check under the desk lol.
Yes please play Welcome to the game 1/2!! I found your videos on that way before I even knew who you were, so when I found you again via phasmo I really regretted not knowing you back then. So seeing you replay them now on stream would be so awesome
hello insym i want to spend a minute to tell you a few things i hope you'll read i have been following you for quite a while, and im so glad about it, i feell positive energy coming from you, tonight i cought your stream for the 1st time and stayed till you made a a raid to a small streamer, you are so kind and entertainig. have a good night and a happy new year
One thing I noticed… I’m sure the killer was the phone guy. He’s the only one that would’ve known about him dying. Also he says ‘see you SOON’ instead of see you at work or something, implying that he’s going to his house to kill him right then.
I havent seen you play welcome to the game 1 but i know there's speedruns of it but i would love to see your first playthrough of welcome to the game because it seems like ana amazing game.
I'm very curious to see you playing Soma. It was one of the best intruguing game stories ever made personaly for me. 🥰 wishing you guys a Happy New Year. 🥳
It's always funny to me how 90% of horror games or movies could be solved by 1 guy having a gun. Guy opens window with a knife, get's a quick 9 shots to the head and torso, ez-pz

the title music from cheating fate reminded me of a game that not many people played and on youtube i couldnt find anyone that beat it. its a game called "forced to play 2" there is a first one also.
I like how his name literally Kyl T. Knight, as in, "Kill tonight". So bad... lol Also, why does he have the ability to find someone 'guilty'? He's just a detective, did the dev forget how the justice system works in the US? You know, the whole court and jury thing? And why do you have to get your info from tv, when you should already have it? The whole game doesn't make any sense...
The plot twist at the end of the second game was cool, but it kinda makes no sense. Who is continually trying to break into his office and kill him if he's not even the detective?
I still remember originally finding Insym through his Welcome to the Game speedruns
Same! Good times 😁

same. i was absolutely obsessed with welcome to the game and wttg2 back then, and his speedruns were insane.
