I’m sure that would help, good suggestion. Since this project I have fished with it several times with no issue. I used alcohol rub then applied some spray adhesive. The heat gun also was key in forming it to the yak. Thanks for checking out the vid!

Appreciate it! That’s a good point on the sound. I didn’t talk about that, but it definitely helped with the sound. I also put some padding under my seat riser, worked out good. My crate legs were starting to make indents in the yak, now sitting on padding as well. I did fish with it several times and it made a big difference standing more forward in the cabin. I wonder why none of the big name matting companies doesn't make kits for the pdl 106 or 120 i got the 106 and want a mat kit so bad thry make them for the other old town yaks
Would scruffing it a bit with fine sandpaper help it hold better?
