Hello Farm Family. Thank you for joining us for another upload. The time has arrived!! We are finally ready to have the GRAND RE-OPENING of Graceland, our Peacock Aviary for our Peacock Elvis, & his mate our Peahen Priscilla. In this upload you will see us work out the detail of the build to ensure everything is safe & the Peacocks have all they will need to be happy within the aviary.
This is part two of our aviary build. Coming off of the previous video, things had me down but in this upload I'm looking to make things right & find solutions. (From Part Two Upload) • Building An Aviary For...
The work on a homestead never stops but we love it. Directly off of the road from the Alabama Homesteaders Meet & Greet at Petals From The Past, we jumped right into our next project...an Aviary for our Peafowl Elvis (Peacock) & Priscilla (Peahen). You are very smart to not overfeed your animals. Especially goats! I’ve seen a lot of cute chubby goats always down on their knees halfway through their lives bc of over feeding. You can easily put weight on them down the road if need be but green pasture is best! I love your farm and your channel!

Found you from Eddy Family Farms. I am a big fan of Cog Hill too. I also watch The Kelley'a Country Life, they are in Florida too. They were all building a barndominium and I have never heard of such a thing. So that is how I found all these farm style pod casts. So now I will add you to my list. I like antiques to and the animals. I live in California and always wanted chickens, but now too old and living on a fixed income. So I listen and watch pod casts. Since finding your channel, I'm trying to catch up on all your videos.. another fantastic video! You done such an amazing job on Graceland and your peacocks will certainly be living the high life. I'm not sure if you've decided on a sub-flooring option on the other side of the shavings, but we opted for pea gravel in our designated "yard" area and love it. Easy to hose down if necessary & keeps it nice & tidy. It was so nice to see both of your Mommas there enjoying that beautiful baby boy. ❤️

Before we moved to the property, I really enjoyed decorating the main spaces in our home and Natalie does the bathrooms and bedrooms. My love for decor has definitely continued outside of house. 🤣
The girls can’t wait for him to be old enough to play outside with them. Sahara said she will share her dump trucks with him.😆
Maybe in time you can put in a turtle with a water feature for them and add a tortoise area, just my two cents…

Your barn is amazing. Love no nice you keep everything and decorate it. Just beautiful!! It is hard to see WB on video but just looking at him he looks like a young bull. We have raised registered angus for about 3 decades. I would lay money he can breed. His neck is bigger than it should be for a steer.

Glad you’re ok from the storms. They came out of nowhere…or at least that’s how it felt here in Central Florida. Everyone helps out on the farm. Right now since Natalie is recovering from the delivery she is not able to help at the moment but the girls & my mother in-law are great help as well ❤️❤️ its a family affair
