You are able to access your SD card's roms? I got the 32 bit retroarch from another guide that allowed access to usb. It detects the SD card but doesn't show the roms in it. Yet PPSSPP is able to detect the psp roms in the SD card.
Nvm its weird. I can't scan the directory from the sd card but I can manually choose the playstation games one at a time. Only allows me to scan directory if the files are in the internal memory of the onn box (where i have the smaller games files like gba, gbc, etc.)
@@jerryrivera6328 Yeh. I got it working. Retroarch detects the files in some 3022-3449 file. Just hate how they made things complicated, back then you didn't need no file manager app w/ permissions. I have to load in N64 files one by one, can't do the whole folder at once.
No the box just isn’t powerful enough for that. Dreamcast and PSP is the limit. You’re better off with a mini pc really even for Dreamcast and PSP. Something like an old Dell Optiplex USFF with an i5 4590T or better still an i5 6500T would be able to do GameCube and up to PS2 running batocera. You can pick them up on eBay pretty cheap.
The firestick 4K max that I tested was better but I guess the price is a lot higher. I just love trying to emulate on anything I can get my hands on to be honest.
@RetroGamesGuide it was on retroarch but used another core for game and it worked thank you, but I do have 1 question. Is there a way to connect 2 xbox controllers to play coop?
That’s a great question. I haven’t tried but you could try one via Bluetooth and the other wired or possibly one using an additional Bluetooth dongle or a second controller that has a 2.4 GHz dongle such as the ones used on the Super Console X.
A very useful video, thanks!
You’re welcome
I saw you have hyperspin installed. Does it work with RetroArch?
No unfortunately it just crashes when you try to open it.
@@RetroGamesGuide any luck with other front ends?
Also, since we can now connect external storage, can we boot batocera on it?
When I try to install, it says "unsafe app blocked" and says it was made for an older version of Android. Is there a fix?
Have you put it in developer mode?
Do you tweak the ONN for graphics?
I haven’t changed any display output settings but there may have been upscaling done by the particular emulator.

Yeah it’s not great how things are going with android really. It’s getting harder to make emulators work as they once did.
I got the 32 bit APK and was able to scan my directory and load all my roms. Is your external SD card formatted as fat32?

Is it possible to run gamecube games

@@RetroGamesGuide thanks man that's helpful now I can stop trying 😂 and get me something else
just curious is that same for shield to about play store?
I haven't tried on a shield but I would imagine its the same.
so realisticly this is a terrible replacement for the firestick 4k if emultation is important for you?

@@RetroGamesGuide i appreciate the content!
this onn box is not new 4k pro oon lol
That’s a newer box that wasn’t available at the time this video was made.
How come when I click on the game it just goes back to the onn Main menu
On which emulator is this?
