Your story is so similar to mine. In my case I asked God to clarify if I could have a boyfriend in my 100level. And He told me if I could stay away from having a boyfriend throughout my four year study, He would bless me with a great husband. Immediately I heard him I locked up my heart, completely following God's instruction. 10 years in marriage this September and indeed God blessed me with a great spouse. God is faithful. It is sweet and safe to trust God with our lives.

Wow! You reminded me of how I discovered my purpose in life. I've always aspired to be a military man ever since I was in secondary school. And the only reason is because of the high salaries that they are being paid by the govt. Hence, I resolved in my mind to join The NDA. However, God in the long run interrupted that plan, and revealed to me what he has created to be and do in life. He literally showed me my future, and where he is taking me (and how successful I will be in life); because I was adamant about going to NDA. That was the last thing God used to eventually convince me. He made me lose the admission of NDA (by not being aware of when the form closed), and told me to go to the university; and that he will make something glorious come out of it. I got admission into Unilag with a course of my choice that same year.
Published my first book last month (a means to an end) to the glory of God; and I am still on my way to the destination God has set for me.
In a nutshell, God actually do speak to people. I experienced that, and those encounters with Him were life changing.

God indeed works in mysterious ways. I gave up on relationships during my NYSC after several failed relationships only to meet my husband in that same year. I remember doing everything to drive him away but he never gave up and I am glad he did not give up. About 2years down the line and I am grateful to God for the gift of my husband.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful story. As a Christian, I have always asked God for revelations through dreams but have never gotten them so hearing your story has really made me believe in God revelations through dreams
Congrats to those who are able to provide a God's love story. I always wondered how some Christians are able to get these types of stories from God and yet others are doing the work (living God's standard), fasting, praying for their "Kingdom" spouses for years and it is just silence from God. Sometimes, life can be unfair and confusing.
It can be really frustrating. In my own experience, God revealed about my marriage about 6 years ago and im still waiting. Ive prayed, fasted, given up and got back to praying again. I believe God prepares us differently and writes our love story differently, unique to us. Remember our battles are different, some of us have to deal with generational curses (spirit spouses) that fight our kingdom marriages. Id like to believe that God entrust us with everything we go through. He knows that we will keep the faith and when we do get weary, limping and all, He will carry us through.
Also, the world will one day learn from us, us who didnt have it “easy”. It will be a beautiful story that will encourage many in a similar situation. God loves us, His promises will be fulfilled in our lives one day!

Maybe God wants you to learn something about yourself before He can release your husband to pursue you. There’s so many things we can do with our lives while we patiently wait. And you can be happy that way too. You have to desire God’s Kingdom more than marriage. God bless you and all the best. I hope you meet him this year. Don’t stress about it just be consumed with God’s work
Sometimes it’s not a delay , but more like not God’s timing yet. Unless God gave you a specific timeline, you’re still in His time. Keep praying and trusting love, in the right time God will make it happen.
Let me give you an example. God gave me a word a very specific word concerning my marriage in 2016, that’s six years ago. And then radio silence. For years I prayed and fasted and was so expectant and hopeful, but year in year out I ended the years discouraged because the word hasn’t come to pass. By 2020 I had given up and was done waiting, but within the past 2 years God has sent me confirmations through dreams and prophecies that that word still stands and He will bring it to pass. The most recent confirmation was 2 months ago. So even though it hasn’t happened yet, I know that words still stands and it’s still in God’s timing.
So be encouraged my dear, He will bring to pass his word okay. Maybe you can ask Him for confirmations to encourage you

I don't know if it's God or just me reading too much into things but recently, I've been getting signs of relationships, marriage and a husband. I've been constantly having it in mind what kind of marriage I want to have and honestly I'm confused because I have no idea what I'm doing with my life rn, no idea as to what direction I should be headed towards. Very Inspiring, I remember growing up I was very close to God and I've had a great deal of encounter with him both in dreams and reality. It was indeed special. I dont know what happened along the way....But, I just realized that bond was no longer there. And somehow it almost feels like God doesn't speak to me anymore or maybe I just haven't been listening. I would love to have that connection with him again if it doesn't come once in a lifetime.
