I feel like I've read all these books!! They are all so good! I'm totally going to get reason to breathe, cracked, slammed (basically all colleen Hoover books I've already read Hopeless bc of you and loved it ) find you in the dark, the summer I turned pretty (a couple of summers ago I picked up the last book on sale and didn't realize until I finished the book that it was the last book but now I know what the others are about I want to read them all). First there was forever that I'm excited about! The cellar, the breathe series!! I also been wanting to start the or buy unexpected everything for a while now, I want to buy first or win it lol! I'm going to miss these videos!! You should do this again!! Loved it!!
I loved The Unexpected Everything! Second Chance Summer is still my favourite Morgan Matson book though. Jenny Han is another favourite author of mine! P.S. I Still Love You is fantastic and you definitely need to read it, but I can definitely understand how the TBR books just keep piling up! I've also heard some amazing things by Emery Lord and I own all 3 of her books so far, but I have yet to read one. Thanks for a week of great videos and for giving me so many new books to put on my TBR!
I've been really needing to read All the Bright Places too!! I almost picked it up the other day... :P All sound like great books!!! Stolen is so freaking good, oh my god... it really messed with me.. I couldn't put it down!!! This week has been awesome! Such a creative idea and so so so many awesome books. It gives me motivation to read the ones I have that you mentioned and also brought some other books to my attention to buy some time in the future!
The begining of everything of everything was one of the first contemporaries I read and I completely loved it. You have to get to it soon. I also didn't really like Just one Day but I was here is one of my favorite books. It's completely amazing, you should give it a chance :)
Stolen is an amazing book it makes you think about the kind of Stockholm syndrome situation the character faces and the way it's written makes you feel so sympathetic for her, almost as if you were in her place. And ps I still love you is a great summer read it's so funny, and cute and light, the kind of book you read in one sitting and ask for more
P.S. I Still Love You was bomb! Definitely one of my faves. Read the first book in one sitting, and the second one in under a day. I'm really pumped for the 3rd book, and I'll definitely miss this series Laura! Not many booktubers like contemporary so I was really happy when I discovered you haha xx
Great selections..cant wait to purchase ps i love you...Blink 182 was on Good Morning America..I couldn't stop singing as loud as I could. Have a Happy Independence Day!
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! Finally soleone who reads a lot of contemporary! You really should read the Forbidden Men companion series by Linda Kage and One Week Girlfriend series also companion series by Monica Murphy! They're both new adult and are amazing!
I read The Beginning of Everything this past year and I really liked it! The ending was a little rushed, but the book as a whole was good. I really liked I Was Here! In my opinion, My Life Next Door is a little better than The Boy most likely To but I liked that one too😊 I'm going to miss watching this series
Really enjoyed this series Laura, lots of lovely books! After you recommended ‘Every Last Word’ by Tamara Ireland Stone it’s something I would love to read. I asked for ‘The Unexpected Everything’ for my birthday after seeing it pop up on booktube. Sounds like a nice summer read! I’m currently reading ‘Don’t Even Think About It’ by Sarah Mlynowski which is so humorous in parts and mostly light-hearted. Have you heard of this one? Have a nice weekend! :-)
All The Bright Places and Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe ! Amazing books, lots of emotions. I really want to have your opinion on these books (sorry my english isn't great, I'm a french follower :)). I miss the contemporary week already.
Read Aristotle and Dante! It is perfection! It's a coming of age story so you'll like it: it's about two latino teenage boys, Dante who is gay and Ari who is figuring himself out, they become friends and it's brilliant. Also All The Bright Places will break you, so maybe read that and then Ari and Dante straight after :)
you will loveeee "stolen" i always follow your recommendations and i always love the books you recommend i actually just placed an order based on the books u discussed all week"!
You should read paper princess by Erin Watt. I think it's really amazing. The girl is a stripper who suddenly finds her self in the upper class. 5 super hot brothers who all hate her and is the male version of mean girls.
I'm currently reading Aristotele and Dante discover the secrets of the universe and it is such an amazing book! I highly recommend it to you! Go check that out
I'm the most excited to read The Unexpected Everything! I bought the American hardcover off BookDepository because I was SO excited. I also bought Since You've Been Gone as I hear there are minor spoilers for it in TUE. I read Stolen as a child (aged 14-16 somewhere) but I hated it :(. I did not like the story AT ALL so it's not for everyone.
PLEASE go blind on Aristotle and Dante discover the Secrets of the Universe, it's really amazing, moving on I have read Stolen but I haven't finished yet and honestly I don't know when I will because I'm a chicken and I don't want to reach certain part of the book haha, but anyways I did had problems while reading it, like it was too slow, there isn't much action, but maybe you'll like it. (Love your videos btw)
I thought All the Bright Places had a slight issue in the central theme. It's depicted as a book about suicide and intended for people with suicidal tendencies, but I found it more of a read for friends of people with suicidal thoughts. It kinda almost made light of it which I personally hated as it made my situation seem juvenile
I didn't like All The Bright Places THAT much. It was good, but it wasn't what I was expecting at all. I want to read The Unexpected Everything so bad! READ STOLEN YES YES YES I just read To All The Boys I've Loved Before this month so I need to read the 2nd book ASAP!
I know this is unpopular opinion but I did not enjoy Stolen! I felt it was repetitive and I just felt uncomfortable the whole time reading it! It did put me on edge but I didn't like it lol 🙈
My heart and other black holes had such great potential and was pretty good until it took a really cheap and somewhat unrealistic turn at the end. I'm still annoyed at how it turned out. Idk, other people might like it, but as someone who's dealt with similar struggles as the narrator, and know a lot of people who have done so as well, I just felt that the end was unrealistic to the point of magical realism.
the opinion is personal (not to offend anyone) all the bright places was a good book, but personally i feel it wasn't as great as people say it is...i think the author tried too hard to bring out all the thoughts related to suicide and the book starts to creep you out towards the end (though i was thankful that it ended) and u know what they say "sometimes less is more". and thats why i loved me and earl and the dying girl, it wsn't related to suicide but still the illness didn't effect the characters that much, it was actually a part of the story whereas in all the bright places 'suicide' was the story
I feel like I've read all these books!! They are all so good! All the bright places was amazing! I finished it in one sitting and was sobbing by the end! So sad, but still such an incredible book!

Don't rush yourself in Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl. There is literally no plot to it at all
I know this is unpopular opinion but I did not enjoy Stolen! I felt it was repetitive and I just felt uncomfortable the whole time reading it! It did put me on edge but I didn't like it lol 🙈

How weird, i just recommended Stolen on one of your other videos
y you yelling??? i didn't do nothing.....?
