Good to see ya. Beyond busy last two weeks, glad to have these to watch though today. Happy belated Birthday, Welcome to the club😁👍🎂. 🌄☕ Part 2 coming up.
This is truly fascinating and intriguing. It's amazing how many people were buried there over the years. I enjoyed learning about the legend of the inauguration stone - would love to hear it roar! Looking forward to watching part two.
Cara, Amazing history lesson here. Great tour of these sights. If I have a free day I want to set a cooler in the living room and binge watch these videos😅. Thanks dear. Looking forward to part 2. Have a great week😍💞🐲🌹👍
First of all Cara PENBLWYDD HAPUS! ( HAPPY Birthday ! ) and what a place to spend it . I watched this on TV late last night and it was brilliant . Didn't know Ireland used to be split into 5 kingdoms. This hilltop of Tara was amazing with all of its monuments from different eras and I was fascinated with the passage tomb that got excavated in the 1950s that had hundreds of human remains in. Loved seeing the artifacts that were found at the mound and that Iron Age Royal Seat was interesting to think about. Also if that was the stone of destiny then it would be the inauguration stone for the Kings of Ireland. That place is really interesting and it's no wonder you had to split it into two parts. That was great :) ~ Anna 👍
Thank you so much Anna, it is an amazing place. part two does look a couple more of the monuments ontop of the hill and a few possibilities as to why the hill was seen to be so important. Thanks for watching Anna and hope you both are well. :-)
So very sorry i wasn't able to make the premiere, but thoroughly enjoyed watching this tonight. How incredible to be able to see this kinda history before our eyes, thank you for sharing and exploring these wonderful places that i never knew existed! Wow...that first tomb you shared on the hill of Tara...so many bodies crammed inside, absolutely mad to think about! Incredible to imagine just how many other burial mounds are in that area. Some beautiful relics found at the national museum, wow!! this was wonderful Cara, thank you, looking forward to seeing more!!
Such a wonderful location. It was great to explore such a sacred place. Love seeing the ancient stone engravings. Also love all the artefacts at the Museum! Thanks for showing us the hill of Tara. Have a great day my friend.
Lands the only thing that matters, for it’s the only thing that lasts. Sorry, I love gone with the wind and you said Tara!! In all seriousness, the length of time the mound was in use seems really unique and makes it an extra special and interesting place. Thank you for the lovely video, we’re looking forward to par two!
Another great history lesson!....weird how they stacked all those bodies up. In the movie "300" the Spartans build a war of their dead enemies.....thanks for sharing!
well cara theres sure plenty going on at this place, looking forward to part two, interesting for the tomb to be so full of bones when they first found it, loved all the history, a lot of it goes over my head but its super interesting too watch and try and understand, the museum looked a great place to go and visit it, im guessing part2 is next week mate ???? super interesting this one cara nice one x
Yes part two is next sunday. To be honest it has taken me awhile to get my head around this place and even now not sure it has. So much to take in. thanks for watching :-)
Cara, what a well researched video and interesting place you have taken me to. Must informative. The more we dig, the more we learn I guess. Looking forward to more startling facts. I just cannot comprehend a tomb so full of bodies. We live and learn. 👍 🇳🇱 🙋♀ 🇳🇿
I didn't realise until i went there about how full that tomb was. Part two may shed some light as to why that was so full. Thank you so much for watching
Interesting place you visited with a tomb that was filled with bodies….some really lovely artifacts at the museum. The whole area looks really peaceful. I hope you enjoyed your trip there Cara and your birthday! 😊. Thank, you for the awesome tour and history. 👍😊🇨🇦
Interesting tombs, Cara. Enjoyed seeing the artifacts in the museum and the stone with engravings. So much history on The Hill of Tara! You do a wonderful job of explaining what's known, Cara. Looking forward to part 2!
It was interesting to explore that sacred place, see ancient stone engravings. I don't think I'll ever get there myself. Many thanks to you and RUclips for this opportunity to see that wonder ☀👍
The tombs are amazing. I loved seeing your videos about the round tombs and found that very interesting. In Wiltshire the round barrows are from the bronze age, our neolithic tombs are from Neolithic era. So found that very interesting indeed. Ireland has left me with many questions. Thanks for watching
Hi Cara, incredible video 😊 The tomb / barrow looks very interesting and I certainly appreciated the photos you shared of the archeological finds in the museum. Especially those old pieces of pottery. They were very cool 😊 great video and sharing ❤️
Thanks so much! 😊 Odd but i hadn't planned to go to the museum. but i was walking around Dublin, saw the signs and thought i would have a look and the first room i went in was wow, So many items. Really was amazing to see :-)
Hi Cara, Thankyou for teaching us the history of this place. Seeing the tombs was fascinating and the structures, it really does make you wonder. So much unknown history, still! We will add the national museum of Ireland to our list, so we can see some of these beautiful artefacts in person. ❤ Look forward to part 2. - Kirsten 😊
Hi, Cara. Thank you for having me. Feels like you are convincing me to visit Ireland, Cara. Wow...the name "The Mound Of Hostages" is suspicious name itself. The excavation was done in 1950. I was wondering if the second crew is sent to exam this site again with more sophisticate toold ans gear. May find something new or may not. Connecting dots not easy task, anyway. Indeed, I believe that this place is one of the most essential sacred places after the discovery of hundreds of human remains...I was amazed by the artifacts found int the place are more sophisticate than I anticipated. Of course, the circular engraved on the stone depict the significant ideas, techniques, we cannot even interpret it yet. "Ditched pit" noted. Wowowow...there i]s more mystery, Cara...6:48👀 Royal Seats...100 kings...OMG, every time we open a door...there are twisted and deepened passages waiting for us... You are the only person I can rely on to pin-point the facts and take us to the correct direction. Well done, Cara. I always appreciate unspoken work you do even if there not in the film. Look forward to the upcoming episode. 🥰🚣♀
This place has been a nightmare to research, so many different eras in one place. and trying to research an area not in the uk was proving to be difficult. Still i think i have done the area proud. I hope so anyway. I often wonder if the written word goes well with the video rather than spoken word. But i do have quite a few deaf subscribers, so would be difficult change now. thank you so much for your truly lovely comment. really means alot xx
Really interested to explore such a sacred place! Definitely a beautiful and special place there 🤠👍 Thanks for taking us with you! Greetings from Germany 😉🌲
