That was a move to build super meter, not a taunt. Considering he didn't need much to kill after the wall crumple, that was actually optimal.

Jamie only problem is that he doesn’t have a projectile attack so it’s hard for him to to get up close if the opponent is farther away spamming projectiles

Fuudo is so humble player in reality, this taunt was to build his super only. He do that sometime but only when his opponent remain with very little HP.
