Ah yes when Dieselistaion comes around that will be something. Next week we go back in time too the Furness railway and how Edward handled the 'Industry'
Of course, things would run smoothly on Sodor: They've got Sir Topham Hatt. Since he resigned as Director of the Railway Board, I pity whoever his successor is. So you've given Sheffield (16) a different name in this series, huh? Not bad. However, I think you might've heard of the name Glenn Close... XD "They really should make a better type of engine." Uh oh. I sense hints of dieselization coming up... "Freight can't mouth off to you." No, but freight _cars_ can. That is, the non-faceless ones. ;) Well, this strike _is_ a bit more organized than the last ones we've seen on this show. I'm glad to see that Duck is one of the few engines on the Mainland with common sense during this time. And it's equally satisfying to have Stepney turn up. "A story for a _very_ distant day..." Nice one, Edward.
I came up with the idea of an episode titled "Dieselization". I wonder if he's either going to put it in Season 4 or make an entire miniseries based from 1955-1960 called "The Stories of Dieselization".
@@sir.confident I don't the Steam Engines will have to worry about anything here. After all, They can't get scrapped without from them consent first. I could be wrong though.
Victor Tanzig your work is a masterpiece I like all of it except for the ghosts . May good triumph over evil in your future stories . We need to see how good life can be AND an island west of Sodor that’s big can be a place where most engines were rescued from scrap in 50’s and 60’s like the place where Remembrance came from and there are very few diesels An island like Sodar would be almost as big as UK and could have 2500 or more engines and that they would have bought most of the engines built after 1950 and the neighboring island took in 10,000 engines so there’d still be Jubilees Black 5’s Castles and LMS Crabs and a bunch of others I’ll mention the kinds as I think of them , How about a new shed at Tidmouth love the big ones LMS had which had indoor turntables and engines were like people around a round table
Not for 17 years yet. While Diesel traction evolved from shunters to experimental freight and passenger trains through the 1950s the final steam engines were the Duke of Gloucester and Brittainia before building steam ceased and withdrawal came with the closure of branch lines and stations during the Beeching report of 1964. I don't think this may even happen until season 4.
Another Brilliant piece of work Victor. Interesting story and nice to see some characters reappearing aswell as cameos. On another note, you prompt people to offer ideas and I perhaps have one for Adam, seeing as he is likely to live but not appear on Sodor again. Under an episode titled 'Preservation', it would detail the events of preservation, mentioning the Talylln, Ffesttiniog, Puffing Billy Railway, etc. The story would revolve about how Adam was being sold but, in a story prior, had made friends with Stepney. In doing so, Adam (Whose actual No. wasn't 3 but rather 488) was bought by the Bluebell Railway as a gesture from Sodor, put into LSWR guise but disguised for years about his WW2 actions. I say this because, in Awdrey's work, he does refer to the Bluebell's Radial Tank not as No. 488 but rather as Adam.
Terrific epiepisode mate love the history aspect and how nwr stands for northwestern region not railway makes sense this show seems to coincide with reality and Britains history more then the railway series interesting isn't it lol a very distant day that's a good one awesome as always
Good episode Victor but man I can't wait to see what Peter did to get in trouble with Joey or how Arthur is back. At this point I would honestly say those are two of the most anticipated episodes you've ever made. I'm sure they'll be amazing.
Omg yessssssssssssssss I’m so happy my favourite show,my favourite subject, and mabey some new characters,I CANT WAIT,YAEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I always love it when fan Thomas stories incorporate real life events as the original stories did. It just makes Sodor feel all the more real and almost makes you forget Sodor isn't a real place
Wonderful to see a story go Beyond Sodor!!! And I like the little subplot on Stepney and William!!! I also sense a story about dieselization coming in a future season!!!
WOO HOO!!! The comments have returned to this random and specific episode! I must say, this episode had a great plot. (I don’t actually have any notes, I’m just glad comments are returning to some Stories of Sodor videos)
Personally I don't see a problem with the new express coaches that Sodor received. That's actually my favourite coach design, the special coaches from series 5 of Thomas the tank engine.
I think for future videos, you should find a way to acquire a studio microphone. I recommend an SM58. A cheap classic for studio quality voice audio. By the way I absolutely love your voice acting and videos in general for such a fan of Thomas :)
Honestly thinking new series that would just make it extraexplore ideas maybe like that black ends in next to where we can Winston the M1 used to work with on the the Furness railway
15:09 Stepney went from A1x to A1 form in the span of ten seconds. He rebuilt himself to as-built condition.
How so?

Very cool to see an episode focused on the mainland for a change! Great story as always, Victor!
This was another spectacular episode, it was nice to see Stepney in a story at last as well! :)
Your content is the best that I have ever seen. My favorite part of this episode was when Stepney lied to get William out of trouble.
Brilliant work, Victor!
Guess the BR strikes did happen, after all.
Ah yes when Dieselistaion comes around that will be something. Next week we go back in time too the Furness railway and how Edward handled the 'Industry'
That should be a canon mini series. The Stories of Dieselization!
William: Shall I leave you too alone
Alice:If you would that would be lovely
William: Make sure Winston wears 'clears throat' protection.
What would that be for a locomotive? Water filler cap?
