I wonder if the G’s are really worth the sacrifice going from 6 D’s. Regardless, the F-16 is one of the best CAS aircraft IRL and in game for a reason. Wise variety of weapons, insane thrust, and the energy retention and excess power to be able to stay in the fight literally forever. It’s a fighter that does not run out of breath. Even a Gripen doesn’t go for as long. I still like my Harrier, and with the addition of 6 G’s it’s just gotten better, but the F-16 is still top dog for a reason. It’s like a German shepherd with the attitude of a Rat Terrier. I try to avoid F-16’s when I can, and the Fox-3 meta is going to make it even scarier.

Also did any of you guys notice that American gbu-24 does not spot lasers designator until the distance to target is 1.7 km. And this only happens on American planes. If you use grippen for example then GBU picks up on laser from ~8 km
From what I see in your videos I understand why Pantsir players don’t shoot down your mavericks. They show up on radar, and are highlighted in your screen. The radar can be made to look up almost directly above. Pantsir also has the ability to multi target to intercept more than one maverick at once. I do it all the time myself, and it can counter CAS and make it useless.
@@Hunter_i86 I see. Can GBUs be intercepted by missiles? I think I remember reading on some patch notes that bombs can be intercepted by missiles now, where previously they were immune and only could be shot down with guns. I haven’t gotten to test it yet.
Gaijin really needs to fix the F-16C's LITENING II pod. It's supposed to have gen 2 thermals, like it did when it was first added. They've acknowledged it's a bug, but somehow haven't managed to fix it? And to top it all off, it's only the F-16C with this bug. The Gripens? Every single one has proper, gen 2 thermals.
Been enjoying them on the Gr.7. Sadly, they don't get quite the same range due to the platform's performance. So Pantsirs are still very tricky. Especially with all the cloudy maps these days! Very nice gameplay!

Hello, I just use GeForce Experience. I suffer from lag and fps drops sometimes too, I will try to upgrade in the near future. Also the start of any channel is tough and annoying. Most of videos will not be watched, right now you shall just upload whatever you have to tell the algorithm, "Hello! I'm here, I exist" haha. Maybe after 100 videos your channel will start to be noticed. Good Luck man, and don't stop uploading, YT loves active uploaders.

Mav-G is the one of the best AGM missile in the game. It's fix the problem of over penatration while CAS the tank, Mav-D can take you 1-2 event 3 missile to take down strong ERA tank like T-80BVM or T-90M but with Mav-G you only need 1 shoot for every single vehicle in the game. I cant wait till the day russia have Su-27M ( or Su-35 ) with x6 KH-29T and R-77 verus F-16D block 52 with x6 Mav-G and AMRAAM. Btw, in my opinion Kh-29TE is better than Mav-G
Watching your videos still makes me wish Japan had anything even slightly similar to any other nations CAS. Sure the F-16AJ has B Mavericks (and I guess the F-5E FCU now too) but those aren’t particularly effective. I’m about to reach top tier France though, so I’ll finally be able to use guided bombs after so long.
It's pretty funny how the 65Gs often "miss" the target, I suppose it has to do with the extra weight making them even less maneuverable. But the missing is making the Gs probably stronger than if they only would direct hit, as it would mitigate the chances of it being eaten by components. I still need to unlock these, but I just don't like toptier much atm... I also don't know if it's really worth taking these over 3x more 65Ds, because with these you can only want to shoot one at an enemy SPAA, but chances are they will just shoot it down. The mav is a mighty slow missile and Pantsirs have absolutely no problem finding them, at least with the 65Ds I can fire off up to 3 instead.... aaaand usually they will deal enough damage to light armored targets. Having more 65Ds is also a blessing against helicopters. And with only 1 65G per pylon, I might instead just pick extra GBU-24s. GBU-24s have insane range too, do even more damage and are very reliable as well (not to mention it's faster than the Mav for long range as well). I would've considered it better if it could carry some more on the inner pylons for 4x total, but I don't think it could sadly.
@@Hunter_i86 I might use the 65Gs maybe as sorta fire and forget GBU with long tracking distance. But I will keep using those GBU-24s at least for Pantsirs, just the perfect weapon against them. Well, actually the perfect weapon would probably be that IIR GBU-15 the Barak gets, did you try that one out yet? Wish the F-16C had it as well lol. Mavs are also kinda subsonic, they can go supersonic briefly and be fired from supersonic (which is nice), but they quickly drop to subsonic speeds. And at the ranges I toss my GBU-24s (15km or so), the Maverick is slower. Did you for instance know the Maverick LOSES speed in a dive apparently? It may go down to 600-700kph in a dive, whereas the GBU may go supersonic... I think the drag of the Maverick is way too high in game perhaps.

Hunter, I am very curious as to how your litening II pod has such good thermals compared to my own? Is it some setting you have or? The thermals on my console (Xbox series X with a 4k monitor) look like gen 1 thermals? It is very blurry and hard to make out any targets from distance.
It is not good my friend, it is 1st gen thermal. Compare this F-16 TGP thermal quality with Gripen in this video for example ruclips.net/video/WgXWKWHcXvY/видео.htmlsi=ef8G_m4Rs1V_OLL5 You will notice a big difference. Also, my Graphic is on movie settings and there is no tricks or additions from outside the game.

8 seats! why would you need 8 crew slots in a 10 mins battle? I would go with 4 crew slots + universal backups, Leopard 2A7, FlaRakRad, Tiger UHT and Tornado ASSTA1.
If pantzir can tws launch at multiple targets why dont they ever lock and fire on our missiles and then switch to us while shooting down incomin? I really wanna try that when I unlock it.
I tried launching 3x Mav D like a train on some Pantsir S1, some players were using the multiple targets engage feature and shoot down all Mavs way far and early.
And F16 can carry only 2 of them when they can take 6 normal Maverick... btw this is insane when you drop 50kg + of TNT with one maverick not a G but the others and you make NO DMG at the tank.... a fucking 50kg of TNT and no overrpresure when BMP 2M have rocket with 10kg of TNT and they all the time got Abrams by overpressure.

one of the most worthless things to carry you could have 6 missiles and potentially wipe a whole team espically if you get a top down attack or 2 missiles with a better war head
@@Hunter_i86 yes they are guaranteed but how many of the 6 mavericks are guaranteed to get at least 4 kills if you launch them right I don’t think they need to be as guaranteed if you get 6 of them compared to 2 I’ve never had issues with the war head to prefer 2 over 6 it does look nice though simply not optimal for wiping teams
I don't think Maverick can be carried on the inner pylons of F-16 in real life, and I respect realistic features in WT, so I don't mind to be honest. Also 2x GBU-24 are nice to bring always.

These are only the successful strikes to show what the missile can and can't do. So many got intercepted by S1 while doing this video.

You can't depend on GBU-24 alone, they are subsonic! I think I will stick with 2x Mav-G and 2x GBU-24, I love short CAS runs and RTB anyway.

HE warhead not HEAT, High Explosive that overpressure all types of vehicles, almost always a kill, not a critical hit.

They consistently one shot spaas. You r biggest threat and among the hardest to kill with normal mavericks.

I don't think Maverick can be carried on the inner pylons of F-16 in real life, and I respect realistic features in WT, so I don't mind to be honest. Also 2x GBU-24 are nice to bring always.

@@joxering9528 u cant see or lock targets after 15 kms... so planes are invincible like u saw in the video... u just shoot from 14 kms and just move reticle over the target... cant do that with AA.
