Interesting... earlier in the video you can hear a discussion about you creating a video to post online... and I agree, what's the big deal? They should be happy you are promoting their location!
From one arcade nut to another > As soon as you spend money to add credits to your D&B card, you’ve already lost. Just because you may have been able to get a few items at a discount, doesn’t counter all the money you spent on losing other games. These places buy prizes in such large quantities that they pay pennies on the dollar for them. So, even when you get a good deal on a prize, they still made money off you because they paid a lot less for it than you think. Anyways, it’s great fun and I appreciate the videos. As long as you look at it as getting some enjoyment out of it, then it’s always worth it. See you at the arcades!
I don’t think the point is to win a prize under D&B acquisition cost, the idea is to win it below retail and resale. You can and there are people who only play skilled based games from coupons on discount days and are +ev, but obviously for 99.9999% of people the point of going to an arcade is to have fun.
Using that logic, you lose every time you buy anything. You lost when you bought that Porsche, because Porsche made it for far less than you paid for it. They'd be out of business if they didn't.
I see parent's recording their kids playing games and that's okay. I've seen group if adults recording themselves drinking and playing games and that's okay. But recording yourself playing the game is not allowed? Makes no damn sense. I haven't been to an arcade in months cause of that. Next time I go to any arcade is to cash out.
YES! This is my thinking with almost anything you film. It's free advertising for them ... pulling in almost 10,000 views every two days ... various videos highlighting D&B. That's gotta be good for business right!?
I suspect if someone was making a video in my establishment and was talking bad about it I wouldn’t want that individual to video. That’s probably why they aren’t consistent unfortunately because not all video content is consistent and more specifically positive in nature. Just my two cents…
I wonder if you filming more “games of chance” in this video had something to do with it? And sometimes managers in these instances just want to assert their authority. We haven’t had any issues yet but I am expecting it. I agree there should be a consistent policy but they are probably concerned with (younger) people abusing it and being recklessly go “viral”. As always enjoyed the video
I think this was just an authority thing. A group of managers who mostly works in the bar saw me filming a game and they wanted to enforce a policy that doesn't actually exist there. "Film some games but not a lot." that's what they said? Doesn't make sense. The game manager though and the owner have both given us permission though. So we are all good!
I could see if it was a casino, and they thought you were doing something that caused you to have an advantage. But it's a arcade,I see it all over they don't want it filmed. I don't understand the big deal. If your paying you should be able to do with it what you will, especially if you have permission from the gm and to ppl. In look at it as free advertisement, why wouldn't they want that.
I don't get it either ... fortunately they were understanding and we do have permissions here to film. But we've been doing this for nearly 3 years ... never had anyone ask us not to film. strange.
I go to this Dave and busters all the time in Syracuse!
Oh dang, I want that Oregon trail game. That's really awesome! I may have to look for that
You can buy the mini oregon trail game at many walgreens, in the toy section
I hope to go back and try to win it! WILL WE WIN IT!? Dysentery Edition!

thanks so much!
11:15 I think that was so close to where if you tapped the machine it would have went over. I did that once and got the 500.
Good luck

We love you Anthony!

Exactly. If we're winning prized below acquisition costs ... we should run our own arcade haha!
haha exactly! Everything you buy is overpriced from the person who is selling it. It's called ... business.
I've done good on big bass wheel when you start from 40 points and do a normal push down. Seems to work with the bass wheels with the wooden design
hmmmm I'll have to give that a try! Thanks :)
Those dragon plush are so awesome!!!
Went back ... they're all gone! So others must have thought so as well!
Oregon trial I live in oregon I would save your tickets
hahahahaha Richard! haha
Great video ben
Thanks Michael!
Yesssssss
YES! YES! YES!
where’s this Dave and busters located?
Gives new meaning to Dave & Busted (for filming rigged games lol)
hahah maybe that's why they were nervous!? haha they are really nice here ... was just a strange interaction!
❤
Ya all the Dave and busters got rid of their taster for tickets now the have that new kind you showed
The sports memorabilia like baseball's and football jerseys have gone up in price so they have to pay more for for the items
I guess ... but I doubt they're paying much more than they were before. They must be getting it right from the distributor right?

It's all very strange. Consistent policies is what we need ... it would be much easier to follow!
you would think they would want you to film....free advertising.

I have emails ... but they are good people here. They took me at my word which I appreciated!
