John Gruden, Sean Payton and Doc Rivers have made well more money and have gotten way too much credit for their tone titles! • @robinhooduk8255
      @robinhooduk8255 6 дней назад +1

      this is the real problem saw coming when you americans started to allow gambling is US sports, where most of your leagues are private for profit businesses that only have the teeth to punish players and not franchises. players are gonna do what players do, its the teams that should have guidelines rules for everything a franchise has to face.
      as a british guy hearing this i am flabbergasted that the NFL isnt already doing an investigation, i cant imagine this ever happening in the premiership, its honestly a dereliction of duty by the NFL, you have players in collusion with franchise to mislead and lie about an injured player, an injured player that could be putting himself of serious life changing damage as his mobility is restricted, a player that could put his teammates at risk of serious injury becouse of his restricted mobility.
      if something like this happened in the UK in the premiership, firstly it wouldnt as the FA(FA is the governing body for UK football like the NFL) has the power to issue crippling fines to a club, so there would be no collusion and if a club found a player had mislead the club he would be suspended and docked at least a months wages maybe more.

      And he was washed up as a QB his last couple of years in Green Bay. His calling cards used to be throws down the field and his ability to extend plays, but as he aged he specialty became 3 yard throws off the backpedal. He's gotten so lazy he won't even set his feet and aim to throw when he has time. I thought his arm must be shot until I saw him throw a Hail Mary moonball for a TD at the end of the first half earlier this season for the Jets. He clearly still has the arm strength, but his mobility is greatly diminished so I guess he's not willing to hold the ball long enough to throw it downfield because he doesn't want to get hit.

    I'm pretty sure at this point, half way through the season we can dispel the myth/narrative that Aaron Rodgers had any significant power. Was he completely powerless? No. I believe Woody did the trade via JD to get Devante there because Rodgers had asked them to try. But I think we can see and agree now that Woody Johnson categorically did not say "yes sir Mr. Rodgers" to everything Aaron said or asked for. He did not consult Rodgers on firing Robert Saleh. Aaron did not give the Don Rodgers head nod of approval to have him "wacked." Woody fired him because he was embarrassed to lose to the Vikes in front of his diplomatic staff friends. And Woody also did not give Aaron his request (if he even had asked) to have Nat Hackett as the interim head coach. And honestly looking at the coaching staff, Hackett was the only one who made sense because he was the only one with HC experience as bad as it was. I think given his reported attention to Twitter/X that Woody sees all the "Aaron runs the whole thing lawls" reports in the media and does all he can without saying to say it's his show and he's running this. He's Jerry Jones without Media Availability. So while Rodgers had some say, I think the reports about wanting him benched and the push pull to get him off the field should show that Aaron is along for the ride like everyone else. Just like Joe Douglas before him, Rodgers serves at the pleasure of the owner.
