The Yamaha R15 M generates a max power of 18.4 PS @ 10000 rpm along with a peak torque of 14.2 Nm @ 7500 rpm and the engine is mated to a 6 speed gearbox.
Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is powered by 249 cc engine.This Gixxer SF 250 engine generates a power of 26.5 PS @ 9300 rpm and a torque of 22.2 Nm @ 7300 rpm. Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 gets Disc brakes in the front and rear. The kerb weight of Gixxer SF 250 is 161 Kg. Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 has Tubeless Tyre and Alloy Wheels.

Gixxer sf 250 has good milage like 35 and keep it in mind it's 250, 35 milage with a 250cc bike.
I own a gixxer sf 250. Done just over 3000 km. Its Been 3 months since I bought it and been riding it continuously for 180 km ride back to home on weekends and not a single hesitation. It returns between 37 to 40 kmpl based on traffic conditions and my riding. So, if anyone came here with a confusion if you want to buy gixxer or not, just go for it.
The bike feels a bit small compared to rr310 or r15, if ur tall that might be a slight regret, but only until you get used to it. And my kind advice don't go past 6k rpm till 1000km for ur bike's sake. And would be better if you ride smoothly until atleast 1.5k km.
If you cruise between 85 to 95 or even till 100 , the bike returns 38 to 39 for sure.
Never fill ur tank or let it dry maintain in between.
And in 2022 model a side stand engine cut-off is also added which is not highlighted anywhere as much as I know. And braking is fine, calibrated to best suite Indian road conditions for sport touring. Just nothing to complain there.
It's a good sports touring machine with comfortable riding ergonomics and a beast if you want fun. But I would advice you not to push the bike to its limits and have fun with all the abundant power with decent cruising speeds.
It feels like bliss driving this around on highways with decent cruising speed, effortlessly. 🛳 👈 feels like cruising on one, a ship.

If your looking for a sports tourer to take out for long journey, this is the only capable bike in the segment that sits in a sweet spot where - It is a 250 cc sports tourer that is affordable, returns decent mileage for this segment and ticks all the required boxes for what it promises to deliver. Simply put, it is a bike that gives you pure and raw riding experience needed for budget sports touring without a ton of electronic support systems. It's a no non- sense bike.
So just go for it.
I was planning to buy the r15 v4 last June for the price of 190,000 pesos, then I saw the gixxer 250sf reviews in youtube and decided to buy it for 175,000 pesos and I dont have any regret choosing the gixxer sf.. I just modified the windshield for better looks.

The amazing thing is it's not just great performance gixxer is also very comfortable for touring also and still gives around 42-37 km per litre
42 nahi deti bhai.....main consider kar raha hoon gixxer sf 250 because r15 aur Gixxer 250 sf same price ki hai the only thing that's stopping me from Gixxer is the mileage. R15 ka mileage bohot hi achha hai 50 plus araam se achievable hai but Gixxer will return about 35.

I was cnfuz between these 2... if any1 of u is geniunly thinking of buying and cnfuz..i can share my views...as i m owning sf250 for an year with 7k kms on odo..and also ridden r15m very frquntly as my group has this also..

2.better mileage.
3.Better handling.
4.better resale.
5.better service netwrk.

1.excellent tourer.(110kmph with pillion for non stop 150kms is very easy)
2.better comfort.
3.looks mature (bigger tyres 150 rear and bigger front disc)
4.supremly refined.
5.power is excellent.(linear)
6.brakes are excellent(front) rear is spongy. Lacks feel
7.when both bikes are ridden with pillion, r15 will be far far behind (150cc shows its small size when load increases)
8.feels good to ride something which is less seen on roads so pple react good.
Edit: u need to ride these bikes back to back to feel the above points.
Suzuki needs to bring more updates to the bike and interact with people out there.

@@Sachin753 bhai 37-38 km/pl rought jitna bhi chala le 30 se nahi girega plus agar pyaar se chalaya low rpm me mtlb 4k-6k mtlb 6 gear me wahi 70-80km/hr me chalayega aram se 38-40 degi ya usse bhi jyada. Aur ek baad gearing long hai traffic me bahoot sahi rahti hai jyada gear change karna nahi padta like 3 gear me 30 km/h me knock nahi karti bilkul

An underrated machine from suzuki
Suzuki's motorcycles are the lord in sports category. I too ride that same matt black SF 250 . What a bike it is 💕💕💕
Suzuki 2 wheelers re far better than over hyped Honda and Yamaha . Suzuki bikes outlast all Japanese any day and they are cheaper too.

Bikes like gixxer sf are what india needs. Other companies are selling way overpriced products(like ninja 300, r15m) because of some gimmicks and useless features. you need a decent sized engine, 250cc or higher and a decent chassis to have fun on a bike. if you are paying for non- mechanical stuff, you are wasting your money. even the KTMs are overpriced in front of this.
A top speed of 150kmph makes it usable on the highways. Probably the most VFM bike in India.
R15 jitna bhi attractive look ho....but it ls only 150 cc...N on the other hand Gixxer is 250 cc(which u get at the same price range of 2l)...I was sad when Honda Cbr 250r discontinued....but now I m thinking of Gixxer 250😍😍😍...n the sitting position of Gixxer is very comfortable than R15
I am owner of Gixxer 250sf bs4 and Mt15 ( same engine as r15) . I just think why do people compare these 2 bike. Gixxer is way more powerful, and Mt15 is way more fue efficient. Gixxer is better on highway and touring. And Mt15 is better for city. It gives a milage of 49 in city compared to g250sf of 33 to 36(according to roding style)

R15 Intial torque is low compare 250 cc, but r15 top speed nearly touch 250cc bike top speed, but 100 cc bikes torque is low and top speed also low
150cc vs250cc but i think they compare becoz the price is closely same, and the top speed also, suzuki need to bring the gsx r 150 , 150 beast,top end king to smoke r15 here in india but i love the looks of r15m

I have the Blue Gixxer. Considering the budget i was choosing between cbr150r, r15m and then i found the gixxer. Kawasaki option was not available in my island and their 250cc bike is like more than double the price of the gixxer because its 4 inline engine plus all the racebike complete package additional tech quickshifter, slipper clutch, riding modes etc etc. The r15m was more expensive than the Gixxer even though it was 155cc and everyone i saw on the road had r15. So in the end i gave suzuki my trust and i went for cheaper bike with higher cc and for now i think im satisfied to learn how to ride a sporty bike. Hoping to upgrade to a higher cc bigbike.

Bhai isiliye to maine r15 m 2022 cancel kardi our Gixxer sf250 li bohat achhi hai riding comfortable me our lining me bhi agar after market achha wala visor lagalo to topped bhi 155 + achieve karti hai
The only thing stops me from Gixxer is millege it gives around 37 to 40km per litre...but R15 gives 50plus millege and . more over we get VVA technology,slipper clutch, quick shifter liquid cooling system in R15m
if you want mileage there is 150 cc gixer available

Yeah price is high ,but Yamaha gives valuable product, r15 v1, fz v1 and fazer v1,,.. because these bikes are root of yamaha tree in india,... now a days people like these bike, after years going yamaha products resale value is good compare suzuki( eg. Rx 100 ).
