I have a lot of respect for Elliot Sadler...at Bristol one year he was part of Team Ford Racing hospitality and was awesome to interact with even got to see him win Bristol in the 21. Those where the good ole days as a fan but we didnt know about all the drama behind the scene.
Great Interview!! Unbelievable behind the scenes activities with contracts etc. I think Elliot was / is a Great Talent.....who's accomplishments / talents have been lost over time.
As fans, we see the race, and we see the winner. This behind the scene look is enlightening and disheartening. I never thought driver contracts could be that cutthroat.You and Elliot are certainly opening my eyes. Thanks again Kenny for your deep interviews that are often picked up by other news agencies. I try to remind fans as well, its not the wrecks you need to remember, its the wins and finishes. Most fans will tell jr about richmond and kyle busch, 10% will only mention his 4yrs without a win and then dominating at Michigan leading 95 laps in the batman car.
Jack Roush and his Cronies were hell to deal with? That’s the worst kept secret in Nascar history. I still hate that Sadler never had a chance in a Gibbs or Hendrick car. He wasn’t a world beater, but he could run with the big boys.

Kenny how can Drivers get screwed on contracts when as long as I've been watching nascar racing on TV and you are included in this.Drivers always say that they don't do it for the money they do it for the Trophy now be truthful have you heard this saying and have you said it your self. So why make this video and make liars out of peopl just like all drivers tell you that Chrvys are the best until they get a ride in a Ford now Ford is the best. Nascar fan's are loyal but the driver s ain't.

Sadler is a class act. Glad he finished his NASCAR career with JR Motorsports.
