Hey Ryan, I'm a long time Polaris snowmobile owner. (Just bought my first ever XP1000S ATV.) Anyways, on Polaris snowmobiles you should be able to read the print on the belt from standing next to and outside your machine. Looks like you mounted it correctly. Also right after the word POLARIS you will see some small triangles w stars in them. The triangle points towards the central line of your machine. & IMO the width wear you encountered is normal wear I have encountered too on my sleds. Nice video. Thanks for sharing it. Mike
Seems it hits a tad sooner on initial engage....might have a tad more "gear" too but might be in my head. Was very pleased to see the stock one with about 1200 miles and still looked very worthy. Lots of hard throttle, wheelies, tow and recovery...and yeah it's still decent. Makes a huge difference to know how to use the clutch as it should. Wears the belt much nicer!
Umm, you should really wash everything out before breaking into it. You likely damaged your seal. Not sure why your doing a video because you certainly are not helping anyone.

(Sorry, just realized your name is not Ryan.)
No worries and thanks for watching! Just ripped it tonight and still absolutely love it!
How does the new belt bite?
