For anyone that is depressed I want to tell you story about a friend I knew that went through depression before shooting up a school and ending his life. He used to be a very happy guy who was quite talkative and loved to joke around up until his father had passed away. I knew they were very close but when I saw him switch into a silent person within the span of a week, I didn’t know what to do other than just try to be normal. Little did I know how much he was really hurting inside because a few years after that, he went to school with the gun that his father used to own and shot 7 bullets, killing two people and then himself with his last. When I found out that he was the shooter I was in such an insane amount of disbelief. I never thought that he would have done that because in my eyes I visually saw him become more talkative. My family had contacted his mother and we were told that he was in very bad condition. I know it may sound bad but I really wished that he could pull through and live. Not much longer after that all they could do was keep him alive by a plug and he passed away. Since then, his mother has not been open about it to anyone of my family and has completely shut down. She had lost both her husband and her son in a short amount of time and now she has been left alone and refuses to open up to anyone, not even her closest friends. What I want people to learn from what I learned when this happened is that you seriously need to be more open about what your going through, because if you are not open about it, you will never truly realize just how much people care about you. I had been very upset for a while after this incident but I was able to recover because my parents got me a therapist and I eventually got comfortable and since then I have been doing great and I haven’t been too sad at all as long as I don’t try to think about what happened. The other thing is is that if you don’t think that you can live for yourself, then you should live for someone else so that you can see them live a happy life. I hope that all of you that are reading this can hopefully overcome what you are all going through and remember that there are a bunch of people that love you and will miss you if you leave them.

I had been very upset for a while after this incident but I was able to recover because my parents got me a therapist and I eventually got comfortable and since then I have been doing great and I haven’t been too sad at all as long as I don’t try to think about what happened. The other thing is is that if you don’t think that you can live for yourself, then you should live for someone else so that you can see them live a happy life.
I hope that all of you that are reading this can hopefully overcome what you are all going through and remember that there are a bunch of people that love you and will miss you if you leave them.
