I love the fact that Miwako and Tomi are best friends and voiced by the same Eng voice actors who did Morgana and Haru who also were besties in Persona 5.
1:05:52 There's a very good reason for that. Gouto is basically the fucking Sherlock Holmes of this game. His story is basically wrapping up all the pieces of every other story and laying out the parts we missed and generally solving all the lingering questions.
For reference/perspective, Commercial air travel had already been more than well established in 1985, with military aviation even more well established. The Boeing 747 had already been flying over a decade by then. Commercial air travel hasn’t changed much since the late 70s early 80s aside from becoming cheaper safer and quieter. It's funny how you guys were super quick to get Shiba's twist, but not Inaba's identity. That's one of the few I was able to get quickly, purely because of Tomi also mentioning she sings.
right, haha. such a fun aspect of the game, everyone has different twists and different obvious things in their playthrough. i actually figured inaba out fairly quick because i managed to place the VA haha

I did that by accident. I couldn't unlock Red Glasses with Yuki for the longest time. Didn't quite get this far though, before I looked at a guide and realized you have to present the same thought cloud to the track manager after the track captain, and they stand just far enough apart that the prompt won't show.

miwa is so me.. someday I'll cosplay her !!! it makes me so happy seeing a chubby girl in a style like this, too, as a chubby girl myself. and she looks just as pretty as the other girls! and her appearance is never made fun of. i really appreciate it. hope to see more variety in body shape and size in other media going forward :]

Just a little correction (since the game had said it before, and Evan even joked about the realization with the spy suit), but Morimura's got to do with Iori, not Ryoko.
I think you guys are the first channel I've seen that has not touched Natsuno since her prologue. That's what I love about watching people play this game. There's so many ways to tackle the story and everyone's theories are different based on the information you receive from the story.

Oh Gouto how you throw a spanner in the works. His story is the last one you'll generally see in the game since he's, as one of the early trailers for the game put it, the Seeker of the Truth.
I will say I decided to start a new playthrough of the game because of your playthrough and decided to see how far you can get into the game without touching Natsuno's story.
You basically got there in this playthrough. You can only do up to Wave 5 of the 2nd sector (alongside all the character stories you've already done) before you're completely locked out of everything until you do Natsuno's story.
I will say it was a fun way to play through the game this time around and helped me be able to post comments since I knew what information you already have.
I will say that at this point you've met every major player in the story and it might be worthwhile to just take a moment to look over the timeline of events you've currently seen (ether on video or your own time) before jumping into Natsuno's story.
You have a really good base of information now and seeing who knows what and when will really help you piece together the 2nd half of the story.
Now that it’s definitively confirmed that BJ is a version of Miura, believe it or not, BJ is also voiced by the same guy, Zach Aguilar! He just has a heavy filter thrown on.
iirc Gouto time tends to end quite quickly and pick up again more later.

We know she comes back. She was taking a bus during the Kaiju attack. The question is how.

Hilariously, old rotary phones probably had better accuracy when it comes to voices:
They used analog transmission and thus could transmit a much more accurate (albiet susceptible to noise) voice information.

there is no war in Ba Sing Se... there is no Miwako in 1985...
39:22 0/10 worst game, killed off my favorite who wasn’t even one of the main 13 (ok they didn’t really kill her off but like I’m biased towards her, she’s so pureeeee)
