I'm self taught, spent lots of time watching RUclips tutorials, reading forums, and researching how to do these things. With the right tools, a little patience, and some research most of these things are easy to do yourself. There's a few things that I'll definitely just leave to the professionals but my goal has always been to learn to do as much as I can on my own.
Hey so I really have enjoyed watching your videos you seem very knowledgeable I also have a kouki and I have a problem with my passenger side door one day it just locked up on me I can't get it open and iv taken it to Nissan no help there and iv called locksmiths also no luck just wondering if you would have any advice on what I can do to fix this problem I'm somewhat local from Portland thank you
Thank you, I'm glad you've been enjoying the videos! I haven't ran into that issue on any of my cars before but typically when a door won't open from the inside or outside something has come disconnected on the rods between the door handle and the piece in the door jamb that holds the door closed. Unfortunately the most common fix I have seen is being able to get the door card off or accessing those rods with the door shut. With the 3 screws that are at the bottom of the S14 door I doubt you'll be able to remove it from inside the car so I would try removing the plastic cover by the door handle, remove the one screw from the door handle and see if you can pull on the rods to open the door.
@@avengednick definitely I'm gonna try that and see if I'm able to open the door up so I can further inspect the inside of the door thanks for the advice I really appreciate it.
