Real user here. Want to share my experience. Swapped my SE2 frame with this one, after the og backglass got cracked.
Sadly, it didn't proved a good value for me.
The installation went smoothly, the tolerances are good, and the overall quality is almost on par with the original.
It does look.. interesting. Going for this frame i wanted to bring back my 4s experience. Which it did! It triggered my muscle memory to reach for the top button. That's after 5 years of an android phone with a side button.
The price of this frame is 3 times more than the usual aftermarket one.
Since you are sacrificing the case compatibility, the manufacturer gives you it's own. Typical silicone case, looks a bit goofy, but is alright.
Found an interesting case-like accessory online after i swapped the frame, that i want to use now. Obviously i can't.
And then the ergonomics, it is completely wrecked. It cuts fingers. Doesn't leave a mark, but the phone is now painful to use. Touch ID is also now harder to reach because of that.
Overall, this frame is a commitment. Would recommend buying only when and only when you know what are you going for.
I think i'm gonna leave it as is for now. But, if something happens, and i've got to change the frame again, i would go for a usual option.

Just recently got one made, absolutely in love.
Only drawback is that I can't find a fitting phone case for it. The regular 8Plus cases are too small and the 12 Pro one has different button layouts.

Love this frame. It fits the se2 and se3 btw! I just transferred my se3s guts into a all black one and have a blue on the way to do it again.
The se2 n se3 have identical layouts to the 8g just newer parts but same bolts & clip points inside. Ali express has this housing for the same price as a oem housing too
