Spartan Race - Valčianska Dolina (SK) 2023 - Super

Back in Vačianska Dolina for the second day of my Trifecta Weekend race 🤟
I was happy to discover in the morning that my physical preparation for the event was spot on, and despite spending over 5 hours on the track the previous day, my recovery was great, and I felt strong and energized for the second day of racing.
The only downside was the weather again - the forecast indicated heavy rain in the morning, and the temperature was even lower than the previous day 🙄 This all came together about a minute into the race, and the rain started pouring again. We were back where we finished yesterday…

📷 Course Highlights: Once again, the Swim, followed by the long river walk with barbed wire crawl. I don’t think I will ever forgive the organizers for this one 🤣
Surprisingly enough, the experience of the previous day toughened up my mental state, and I felt much easier navigating the difficult conditions yet again - even the swim was bearable! Only one more to go...
