It's crazy how talented he is, yet I never found out about him until stumbling across it on youtube. Just goes to show that a lot of stuff outside of the mainstream media in the western world will often go unnoticed to western people, no matter how amazing it is. When I asked a few Japanese people on FB they know who he is, but I guess it's like most talent from Japan never gets commonly known to western people, even giant acting superstars like Toshiro Mifune are known to only maybe 1% of people in the west. You really have to go out of your way as a western person to go find different things from other nations, otherwise on the mainstream media in the west they will just be parading around people like Justin Beiber and Miley Cyris doing some autotune singing.

My goodness, me too. Warms my heart
I'm totally speechless to describe such a stylish show and unbelievable music...
10:26 I love her energy so much, exactly how I feel during the song
her own music is also really good, you should def check it out!! (her name is Izumi Kobayashi)
The most memorable part of this performance to me also. I don't know why. I see other commenters with the same opinion. The best song of the album for me. But the rest of the songs and performers are excellent too.

Absolutely love this album. My brother gifted me the book a couple years ago. I have a son on the way, I cant wait to share the story and music with him.
put to listen on the belly of your wife!!!
A rainbow turned into audio, truly magical.
This and the Studio Ghibli 25 Years Concert by Joe Hisaishi are the two shows at the Budokan that I wish I was there for. Truly magical nights.

よく左手が壊れないな、というくらい凄い演奏。こういう人に何か賞はありませんかね。ノーベル音楽賞ってないし。
Probably one of the best live music performances ever. Takanaka is a god.
13:46 makes me cry tears of joy.
You can never come to this place.
One of the greatest pieces of music ever written. I dare you to disagree.
I disagree but it’s awesome
