Y those were fascinating photos
Thanks to Albert ❤ RIP.
Not a fan of colorized photos, but interesting none the less. What an amazing task Albert set for himself - 70,000 photos from around the world!
Get a live narrator!! This artificial voice is unpleasant.
In case anyone is still interested, the 'photographer's' name was Albert Kahn. In fact he was a wealthy banker who commissioned others to take these photographs. His museum in Paris is well worth a visit.
Thx for the suggestion - I’ve lived in Paris and never saw any reference to it. It’s located not far from Roland Garros.
@@sciagurrato1831 My mother in law lived just nearby, I've spent many happy hours in the garden which is beautiful
I love to see how life was like then .
Sanctimonious !
Lousy video. Better skip!
As bad as things were, I doubt it was "the darkest moments in china's history". I would say this would qualify: Mao's policies were responsible for vast numbers of deaths, with estimates ranging from 40 to 80 million victims due to starvation, persecution, prison labour, and mass executions, and his government was characterized as totalitarian.

I am not sure that the darkest moments in Chinese history aren't just about to be witnessed. It will be the poor that suffer as usual.
Man my people look Depressed back then and they blame it on outsiders which they're right and wrong even though uk went to war with my country back then they would still suffer even without the uk and others
I would love to see real life them not characters from Chinese dramas. 👀
Wow i didn't know there beautiful Chinese girls back then 7:12
