Loving the All Clear at 4:50. I think my max rensa was something like 12. But to be able to concentrate that hard every single time and especially when you see your opponent dropping a massive chain boggles my mind. As long as you don't panic, you're fine I suppose.
3:25, fail on p2, he probably wanted the purple end on bottom. It cost him the round.. Regardless, this is hardcore, had no idea people play puzzle games like it's street fighter
yeah, i don't even get anything more than a 3-chain outside of luck, let alone create some diabolical combination to wipe the entire board and crush my opponent
Wow. I consider myself to be pretty good at Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, but I don't think I'd stand a chance against these guys. I just can't think far enough ahead to plan out combos that huge.
@QuintBlitz He was trying to get rid of the greens I'm pretty sure, and he was just unlucky that they got covered, although maybe he missed an opportunity to put the purple in the 2nd column and the yellow in the 3rd. Not sure that would've been enough though.
@DdRMaSTeRDan It would have started the chain he had going, that's what I meant. If the purple had been hit he would have kept the round going. But it's cool, this is still amazing, something I couldn't do with a year of practice.
@QuintBlitz People play just about any game with the same Zeal as Street Fighter, heh. While some games aren't designed for any type of competition, any game can gather it, really. Things like Quake Done Quick (and all of the improvements that came after it) are great examples. Looking at Mario Kart 64 time trials or Goldeneye times are similar, and I'm a speedrunner/score runner in a few sonic games~
And I'm happy with a 5 combo XD
Absolutely stunning. I can barely register the blocks as they fall and you're putting them exactly in their place. Fantastic!

Nersie
It's got literally the same game engine as Puyo Puyo though
Nersie Well it wasn't exactly easy to find a puyo game outside of japan that wasn't reskinned before Puyo Tetris

1:58 WTF?!
wow I never even thought the game could be played at this level. My chains get really fuzzy after 4 or 5

Gosh, they were good and fast!
1:09 was that a glitch?
