      @@murrynathansorry, but just no. Audiences have been dissatisfied with movies for decades now because studio execs think this way and force writers/directors/editors to base their decisions on “proven data” which has just made every other movie overly formulaic and unchallenging.

    As a person that watched pulp fiction way after its release date, I never realized how significant John Travolta's dancing was.

      Worth knowing that it was a huge factor in the word of mouth of the movie. it spread like wildfire amongst the musical people and lots of other not-your-usual gangster movie fans. It really was quite the phenomenon, and locked in Travolta's A-list status for another 10 years.

      In my 30’s now, grew up watching Grease as a kid before I ever watched Pulp Fiction. The weird part of the film was seeing him as a slightly overweight drug addicted gangster 😆

      Quentin Tarantino “taught” Travolta that dance. QT had a very specific idea about how the two characters would dance the twist, one princess-style and one gangster hitman style. So he showed them what he wanted.

    It was one of the most meta parts of any movie ever. Quentin used the fact that John Travolta the actor was mostly known for his dancing and used that as a 4th wall break and as a character itself. Amazing

    One of the coolest most iconic movies ever made. My friends and I couldn't wait to see it because all the buzz was that it was going to be different from any other movie ever made and it totally was.

They crack a few jokes talk about morality like every movie but instead of with actions they LITERALLY talk about it and it's boring af when you have conversations like that with friends that arnt brain dead and the brief case to add mystery because everything else is boring is telling of how bad it was, honestly it's an ADHD nightmare.

    Pulp fiction is like if you take all the best, most fun, most off the fucking wall scenes from a bunch of movies and made that the whole film. Every scene is incredible. It never lets you get bored for a second.

    A masterpiece of a movie . This is another movie from that era where the whole cast brought their A game .I am from the generation that grew up watching John dance . There was quite a few folks our age in the theatre and it happened the way Quentin described it . I remember the gentleman sitting directly in front of me looking over at his wife and going “Travolta is going to dance !”😂❤

    This movie is on my list of top 10 faves ever just for John’s entire character!! The dance, the moment he blows a kiss to Uma.. he is the definition of cool. This movie is iconic! And don’t get me started on Samuel L. Jackson’s character! 👏🏼👏🏼

    even as a young teen, having only really seen Grease and other movies up to that point, I realized how cool this part was! grateful to have been a fan of Tarantino since I was a kid!
