In my opinion collecting TDS for profit is not a good practice because there is no option to recover those money when we are in loss.
For long-term and short term it'll be beneficial I think as most of the retail F&O traders are losing money as per SEBI. So trading in equities and equity intraday volumes will be increased and a sustainable trading income will be ensured to retail investors in India. I personally welcome this new tax system.
