What does gaou mean?

Côte d’Ivoire street slang, the word “Gaou” means
= a person who is a rookie, someone who has no experience in life, a fool.
“Premier gaou” first time you were a fool
“Second gaou” second fool you are a REAL FOOL (a “niata”)
“Gaou” has been used in Abidjan and in general Côte d’Ivoire for many years but in a style of music called ZOUGLOU dance and a version of ZOUGLOU like Coupé-Decalé were exported everywhere.
Magic System is a group part of ZOUGLOU and improved the musical tones, etc.
Fools are every were in the world. Did you know president George W. Bush used an American expression in Tennessee/Texas that looked like a fool (like a fool, a gaou)?
Bush said “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” Very cool, uh?

ZOUGLOU (Coupé-Decalé) is a genre of dance and music but GAOU is a slang word and used in the lyrics of Zouglou.
