I think both meant different things by dedollarisation. The argument against it assumed dedollarisation means it will be succeded by INR as the global reserve currency. But Ankit spoke from a POV of bilateral trades being settled in non-dollar currencies. These are different things with no contradictions tbh. There is not a clear conflict. Idk what the fuss is about.

Dr. Ankit Shah is right on the DOLLAR (all pun intended). Living here is California, I can see the inflationary-stagflationary cycle devastation. Petrol is $9/gallon the most expensive anywhere in the United States (and this too in California which is an OIL and GAS PRODUCING state like Texas and Alaska) and petrol prices still going up and up, all taxes (sales taxes, gasoline taxes, income taxes, property taxes etc and groceries and utilities like electric, water etc have gone up by over 300% (yes you read that correctly). The Federal Reserve keeps raising interest rates for mortgage borrowing and it is currently at 8% at this point and will keep going up and credit card interest rates are a whopping 21% and 90% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck on CREDIT CARD debt. Banks are folding and going out of business and most of those banks are here in California. It is a s***t show here. My point being that Dr. Ankit Shah is the ONLY ONE on this panel who's on the BULL'S EYE with his information and predictions.

Perfectly enunciated by Ankitji, the fixation on the need for a reserve currency is over done. None of the major economies/nations are going to be willing to put their economic welfare in the hands of another country and its compulsions. Either business will be conducted in a 22nd century version of a souped up barter system, like the talk of the cargo ships for S-400 deal, or a truly "trustless" independent currency like btc.

This wasn't a panel where one against the other. ಅಂಕಿತ has hsi point of view & others have their points of view. Everyone is entitled to their own views but, only one view stands tall in the end. Ankit should stick to economic policies & shouldn't come to geo political panels where his knowledge is less. Geo politics is not just economic policies.

Being in the west I know what Dr Ankit shah says is almost near the truth . He is clear in his thinking , analysis and most of it has been right . Always expect gibberish about economics diplomacy arthashaastra and western thinking from both AIM and SS . They are not able to clearly articulate what they want to convey , being All over the place is no analysis.
Mr Ankit Shah has most of the answers and can somewhat explain what is going on, but Mr Sushant Sareen is only wondering about things as ever. All Mr Sushant Sareen has got is only questions. AIM has hardly gotten any predictions right from last few years except supporting Rafael deal. Mr Sardana is positive but his focus is micro level economy.
I hope Hindus and Indians start learning some basics: 1. Ankit Shah is "right" because he is a nobody in the administrative circles. He is a prediction, modelling and maybe investment whiz, doesn't make him a good manager, negotiator, policy maker, governance expert, spokesperson or even an intellectual. The day he is responsible for people outside his clientele, he will start resembling AIM/Sushant. 2. Predictions are not a good way of gauging people, it just means they have the model/tools closest to real life. You gauge them on how they manage and rebuild when things go wrong/damaged. 3. Ankit is a welcome addition, but his style of analysis has its limits. Just like ICT found out in the WC finals 10/10 pattern amounted to nothing.

Completely agree. No single country reserve currency is needed for trade. In fact it's completely illogical. What are we even talking about. People need to enhance their perspectives and come out of these structures of last 50 years. Perfectly enunciated by Ankitji, the fixation on the need for a reserve currency is over done. None of the major economies/nations are going to be willing to put their economic welfare in the hands of another country and its compulsions. Either business will be conducted in a 22nd century version of a souped up barter system, like the talk of the cargo ships for S-400 deal, or a truly "trustless" independent currency like btc.

Not sure why Ankit Shah was invited if you weren’t going to give him enough time to talk. Agreed, Sushant and Abhijeet are entertaining, but Ankit is being proven right again and again. This wasn't a panel where one against the other. ಅಂಕಿತ has hsi point of view & others have their points of view. Everyone is entitled to their own views but, only one view stands tall in the end.
Ankit should stick to economic policies & shouldn't come to geo political panels where his knowledge is less. Geo politics is not just economic policies.

Totally agreed with Sushantji Bharat growth is mostly depends on how we manage energy security. More than 60 % of electricity comes from coal which is responsible for environmental pollution
In India we have bright people who think the government sets international oil prices, that there is a clean form of energy and the best, you can have technological progress minus industrialisation.

Being in the west I know what Dr Ankit shah says is almost near the truth . He is clear in his thinking , analysis and most of it has been right . Always expect gibberish about economics diplomacy arthashaastra and western thinking from both AIM and SS . They are not able to clearly articulate what they want to convey , being All over the place is no analysis.

Mr Ankit Shah has most of the answers and can somewhat explain what is going on, but Mr Sushant Sareen is only wondering about things as ever. All Mr Sushant Sareen has got is only questions. AIM has hardly gotten any predictions right from last few years except supporting Rafael deal. Mr Sardana is positive but his focus is micro level economy.
I hope Hindus and Indians start learning some basics:
1. Ankit Shah is "right" because he is a nobody in the administrative circles. He is a prediction, modelling and maybe investment whiz, doesn't make him a good manager, negotiator, policy maker, governance expert, spokesperson or even an intellectual. The day he is responsible for people outside his clientele, he will start resembling AIM/Sushant.
2. Predictions are not a good way of gauging people, it just means they have the model/tools closest to real life. You gauge them on how they manage and rebuild when things go wrong/damaged.
3. Ankit is a welcome addition, but his style of analysis has its limits. Just like ICT found out in the WC finals 10/10 pattern amounted to nothing.
All panelists were introduced about their profile but Ankit Shah’s profile was not introduced. What was the reason ?
I was very scared listen to the entire conversation, but also so many ideas by such a great people.

Completely agree. No single country reserve currency is needed for trade. In fact it's completely illogical. What are we even talking about. People need to enhance their perspectives and come out of these structures of last 50 years. Iss panel mein jo decolonizing ki baat kar rahe hain woh khud atke pade hain purane structures mein ki aage soch hi nahi pa rahe hain.
Vijay is totally correct.If all the states produces efficiently our GDP will cross world record.
