yeah don’t buy into this mine just goes from 119 to 30fps big dips and big stutters when i turn off afmf 1/2 i get a solid 70fps turning it on causes huge stutters
Good question! Frame generation lag is added on top of the original frame time. If your base frame time is 16ms and frame generation adds 5ms, the total frame time becomes 21ms.
if go with i5 6th gen and rx 560 it will give better performance in than 4600g apu but... with intel path you cant upgrade you system much maximum you can install i7 6th but with amd you have lots upgrade path means future proof
@@Dezquo_11 absolutely AM4 platform is still going strong in budget segment ask any body 80-90% people will say go for AM4 bcz of future proof there are lots of upgrade path in am4

I noticed the Protagonist's hair in _Hogwarts Legacy_ was flickering in AFMF 2 than in the previous version. Good thing it's still a preview/beta, as there are some stuff that need to be improved. AMD better fix that before finally release it for the next Adrenalin update.
Not before this update, was far too much latency even with a controller IMO. That being said my display tops out at 120hz where I think it's more intended for 144hz and above. AFMF2 is a worthwhile option while playing on controller on a 120hz monitor I think. I'd still prefer native 60hz than generated 120 most of time, but I'm curious how it'll handle me trying to go from like 50-55 to 100-110.

The fps seems to be a bit lower on AFMF 2 but it's frametime + framegen-lag combined is shorter than AFM 1 framegen lag. Nice!

Could you try this AFMF 2 but only in Ryzen 5 5600g IGPU? would be interesting to see the benefits
there is no afmf 2 for 5600g, just for rdna 3 igpus

would be better to show us also the microstutter rate, because it is the problem from AFMF 1 and is completly gone with AFMF2 so far as i tested.

AFMF2 is focusing on input lag and quality degradition so because of that there is 5-10 FPS loss while improving image quality and latency

afmf is amd fluid motion frames which is frame generation not an upscaler
