The crazy thing is that this division could have TWO teams with 15 wins this year if the Vikings win out and the Lions don't lose until week 18 (as they'll have nothing to play for).

North next year. 4-year cycle. 2022, NFC North played AFC East (only remember because Lions had the Bills on Thanksgiving), last year, NFC North played AFC West (which stood out because the Lions beat KC on banner drop night), and this year, the NFC North played (and mostly destroyed) the AFC South. So next year, it’s North v. North.
Imagine being a crappy division like the AFC South and getting the awful luck of THIS version of the NFC North as your uncommon opponent.13-3 for the midwest monsters

The inversion of the “You’re our rivals and I hate you” is why I appreciate Tom’s use of “The Purple Incarnation of Satan” so much. Packer’s fan or no, Tom is one of the few analysts I actually trust to give the Vikings their fair due, and I respect him for it, and it’s part of what keeps bringing me back.

He threw for 6 TDs. That actually may have been Peak SOL, even more than the 0-16 season.

It felt like the rest of the division had a delayed reaction to the Lions. I remember as a Vikings fan taking them seriously even before 2022 (though more as a team that could play spoiler). Regardless, they're our rival and I still kinda like them. Way too fun to watch

Vikings: usually are in the top 8 teams in the league and go nowhere with it, AKA, the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NFL
Bears:
Lions: are flabbergasted that they don't suck and not sure what to do with themselves
The Vikings are the 3rd best team in modern NFL, the packers were a historical error due to Brett Favre who was actually a time traveler who came back to give them some wins (don’t mention the Super Bowl please)
