It would be good to scale your object also, because, depending on your material, when you mold something the liquid actualy shrinks a litlte bit, so in order to get the exact dimensions you want, make your objects a liltle bigger.
Hello, I'm wondering how would you add ejector pins to the assembly and cut them with the products surface? This is one thing I've been struggling with and seems that every video on the net just skips that part completely. Lets assume I have a part file of my ejector pin, like 8x125 pin and I insert it into the assembly with mates to a hole and the ejector plate. Lets also assume there is countless other pins there also, as is usual in a mold. How do I trim the lengths to the surface of my product?
Can you please explain in a different tutorial how to design a library feature for a runner and gate? As references i would like to use a scetch on the parting surface for the runner and a point in the gate surface for the gate. How would that be done?
