There's actually two separate ways to solve this case instead of doing everything altogether: you can either trace the murder weapon or interview the witness. Whichever you do is still enough to pin the murder on the suspect.
If you think about it, you'd feel bad for Edgar Kalou sure he killed Everett Gage but if you read throughout the case Gage kept pressing Kalou's buttons to the point of using his position in the Chamber of Comerce to slander his business. Gage has finally pushed Kalou too far. Moral Lesson: Do not push someone too far, you'll have no idea what they'll do to you.
@@m.sydneyvern2260 Yep and the moral lesson: Never push someone too far, you'll have no idea what they'll do to you" At least Kalou can use his argument that would result in second-degree murder rather than first-degree murder thus he'd avoid the death penalty. Ironically Ms. Galleta probably has the most convincing lines out of all the interrogations. If it weren't for the tutorial instructions and facial expressions I'd think she was telling the truth all three times
Yeah her lines give out a lot more detail than the stuff you hear from other witnesses, not dead victims and suspects. Her lie dialogue gives out a lot of info and you wouldn't think it's a lie. Her doubt dialogue literally gives out that Mr. Kalou was the shooter so you wouldn't think about pushing her more. With other people you can deduce whether you can bad cop or accuse Bad Cop is when they aren't being clear with their answer and usually don't answer directly and their tone is off. Accuse... well you know.
Genetically Superior I remember playing this and feeling like I was actually a detective. You really had to analyze the situation and sometimes trust your gut.
Edgar probably ended up in San Quentin (along with a few other criminals in this game) and got sent to the gas chamber. Thar was the common form of execution in California back then.
He could probably argue his way into a lighter sentence, perhaps he can convince them that it was a crime of passion because the guy was being antisemitic. Besides, Kalou's Jewish, he's probably cousins with the best lawyer in town.
Who plays the witness in the orange shirt towards the beginning? I keep thinking it's Jon Cryer, Aka Alan the dweeby guy from Two and a Half Men, but I know it isn't. It may not be.
Alfie Solomons: I understand your gripe, Mr. Kalou. Kalou: Oh, you do? Alfie: Yeah, I do. There was a certain Italian, right, who made jokes about us and our culture. I took great offense to that.

Some people refuse to let old grudges die. Since it was 1947 the game took place after WWII, some people thought the attack on Pearl Harbor will live on infamy.
i know it's a serious game but it's kinda weird that woman has a male name like Clovis and the surname Galletta litteraly means "cookie" or "biscuit" in spanish.
The whole "Good Cop" and "Bad Cop" responses are really weird, and makes me think of "Good Cop Bad Cop" by Ice Cube, ironically released in the summer of the same year.
Fancy seeing you here! Honestly though, the edit makes way more sense. It wasn't doubt in the past either in fact, as the other commented mentioned. It used to be force. The new system seems to be more in line with what Cole does with doubt, plays the role of the bad cop.
After you were done interrogating Galletta, the rank went to 2 but after you were done interrogating Kalou, it was already at 3 at the time and I didn't see the rank go from 2 to 3 after interrogating Galletta and before Kalou, how did you do that?
