It's an interesting idea and presumably done as an environmentally friendly alternative to the very cheap tents that are just abandoned at festivals, just a shame they were not made weatherproof!
That is horrendous. How do people pay $500 to go sleep in something worse than a $60 tent. Its literally smaller than a tent and has 0 rain capabilities. What a joke.
when you take a plane for hours, you don't want to carry a tent with you or try to find a tent on the spot in a country that isn't good at speaking english. Thoses tents were 150€ with a bed , hygienic kit, and supplies inside. people come here for the show and the life between them, having a tent in cardboard taking rain can something turn into a very funny situation to make friends. Don't forget this is the hellfest, not burning man or any other show-camp-festival. You should see when the normal-tent- camp looks like after the festival, it's a mess. here they can recycle the tents. As i can also see, those that had their tent destroyed by the rain got a replacement (the black one).
