I just got an anova and first cook I did was a rump roast. Salt, pepper, garlic powder at 140 for 20 hrs and it was AMAZING!!!Thanks for everything yall do. My family loves it.
I made my first sous vide prime rib roast today and I don't think I'm ever going back to the traditional roasting method. I've baked plenty of prime rib roast but sous vide is on another level in terms of tenderness and flavor. I made the butter rub but I used waygu beef tallow to "cement"my seasonings on the roast. This may have been the best prime rib I've cooked.

Hello Guga, can you please do a video on cooking temperatures, I have tried your videos with the same temperature which for beef is usually 135 but to me it should be 120 to 130 max for medium rare. Can you please do a video on temperatures showing the differences degree by degree or in 5 degree increments. Also can you do a video on affordable vacuum sealers. Thank you!!
With the garlic, i'd recommend roasting it. helps dull the sharpness of the raw garlic. It's what i do when i make garlic butter pasta. But there i lightly roast it and then toss it into butter that is just short of clarifying. Then cook in the butter until the butter clarified and the garlic bits are golden, which in term leaves the butter with this nice golden brown color. But isn't browned butter.
