When Toppop again used its brains and restarted using the Nationale Hitparade instead of their lousy fanclubs serving Toppop Top 30. Dayton should thank Ferry Maat for popularising this song. Parts of the music was used as a filler jingle on radio stations for a few years on.
They certainly were an extraordinary talented bunch of folks deserving of wider recognition. The only thing I remember hearing from them on the radio at that time was their cover of Hot Fun in the Summertime by Sly

I don't ever recall hearing this song nor of the group until tonight when I was awakened by it after I dosed off in my car while sitting in it as it was parked in my driveway and listening to "The Groove" radio station on SirrusXM Satellite Radio. Maybe it was because I was stationed in Fairbanks when this track dropped. There was no R & B radio station there, just pop and this would've never charted on pop radio station. To bad. Well, this Labor Day Weekend of 2019, it shall receive heavy You Tube airplay by me!
