When we turn to Jesus and we’re born again, something supernatural takes place inside of us. Our spirit comes alive to God. The Bible says God rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of His dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins (Colossians 1:13,14). It’s an life-changing reality.
And yet, even though we love God, we fail to obey Him. We go our own way and do our own thing again and again. The guilt of our weaknesses can be overwhelming. The accusing thoughts can be unrelenting. Ron talks about an Old Testament story, more than 2500 years old, that speaks directly to this problem of ours. This new creation reality is vital to our becoming more like Christ.
