Today my good friend @CarrieDayton and I are thrifting for some hopefully summer pieces! We did go into it having very low expectations, but actually this ended up being one of my favorite thrift trips that I've had in awhile! The pieces were just so so good!

Awesome pieces! I love the light blue flower dress. I have gone on two shopping sprees at the thrift store and found my favorite comy clothes and dress for my sister's wedding. I love that I can try new styles. My husband was happy I went on a shopping spree at the thrift store and saved a bunch of money. I hope you and Carrie have a great week!
Lol, I work at a thrift store now and this video hits differently because I used to shop at it way before I started working there.
My heart broke a little when you didn't buy that amazing pink prom dress but I totally get why not. But man it was so awesome! I absolutely love the Alexa + Carrie vibe, friendship goals!

Riverside ❤️
These are Savers thrift stores. They are some of the bigger thrift stores. There are about 6 in California. There are closer ones near you though. Lomita or La Mirada location is closest to LA. Riverside I think is the furthest Savers location from Los Angeles. For thrift clothes Savers has become a bit pricey over the years. You can still find some deals though.

I don’t know if they are required, I know some places in OC are starting since cases are rising, but I personally am choosing to still wear them myself regardless ❤️

The puff sleeve dress you bought was such a great find, love the pattern! Also love the Nordstrom dress, but understand leaving it behind. I found a silk Valentino blouse last weekend at the thrift store for $40 and was sooo tempted to buy it, but the piece really has to be perfect for the price!
I am much older than you, but I love watching your channel! You are also much, much smaller than me, but you always show the thin and thick girl options that inspire you. Not many fashion channels do that. I appreciate that so much.

I think the plaid skirt you found after that is meant to be a rendition of a kilt? I've seen quite a few of them around recently 🤔 I've only seen a handful of authentic kilts in real life and they're absolutely gorgeous!
it totally looked like a kilt :) I was Lucy enough to thrift an authentic one for a great deal a year ago.

The blue tartan skirt is a Scottish Kilt . Men wear them traditionally to weddings, playing Bagpipe performances etc. Probably would have cost a lot new if it was good quality. Love your channel ❤️ with love from Scotland 🏴

The other day I thrifted a tennis skirt that said it was an XL but looked way smaller (I usually wear M/L) and I don’t know how it took me until after I got home to realize it was definitelyyyy children’s size 😅
I am always finding children’s sizes in the pants sections! How do they not know the difference between a child and adult size 14?! 🤣
