Ive just found you and I couldn't be happier, I go to a quilt class and do ok but now, following your clear instructions, I can do my quilt as you go so much quicker and easier, your designs are a breath of fresh air. They're beautiful. Thank you so much I look forward to following you.
I'm so happy you keep your videos on RUclips. I had to watch Mitred Borders again and was so relieved it was still here. Thank you for clear videos on showing us how to sew. You give me the confidence to try new things !
I like the way you explain everything and the camera work is excellent. Looking forward to using my excess fabric and following your instructions. Love hearing another Aussie accent on RUclips. Cheers from Adelaide. ❤️
WELL, I DID IT!!! I tried the miter edges and it worked!!! They are pretty perfect and I cant thank you enough,,,I am so grateful for your tutorial on quilt as you go and I love making my quilts this way. I have made about four so far....I did the miter edge on a panel easter quilt and it is turning out so good. Thank you again!!!
I’m so pleased to see you again! I believe I’ve watched everything you’ve made for RUclips, so was getting withdrawal symptoms. I love the way that you explain things so succinctly. I hope your book journey is going well, and that it will reach the UK. Heaven knows, we could do with a little good news over here! Jenny
Wow! I love this method. So superior to what I had been doing, piecing the op and bottom strips to appear to be mitered. This is so much better. You are amazing, Monica! Thank you so much.
@Alaura. Your creatures are awe inspiring!!! I am suddenly in need of them all! I will need to be selective but I can say that nothing lately has me so inspired. This will be new for me and I can’t stop looking at them ALL! Beautiful work!!! ❤
I have missed quilting with you these past several months. We moved last month and my sewing /craft room is still packed in boxes. Hopefully I can get it all unpacked by the first of next year
In a response to my question in another video you referred me to this one. Thank you very much. I can see that I can use pins to match the borders of my front to the already completed pieced hoodie/T-shirt backing. I will also figure out how to do my binding which will be bringing the backing forward as I am hand piecing the entire quilt and have already started hand quilting. Thank you very much for this video and your response to me.
Just found your site and have been watching your videos for two straight days. Would like to purchase a book explains your methods. Thank you for all of your hard work
I LOVE this method, not sure how you closed up the outter edges of the quilt though. Ya'll have truly got a gift for this, it seems so easy Thanks so much for your videos.
Great video thank you. Always clear & concise. I’m presently using your ‘joining strip’ method on back of a hexie block quilt, where I also did shadow quilting. Although now having to hand sew long (horizontal) back strips as machine sewing caused a ‘clutter’ quilting look on front, if that makes sense! 😅
I have recently almost completed a hexi quilt and would love to see some of your pics!!! Notice I said ‘almost completed’? Hahahaha I am at the end, need to figure out some way to quilt along the four borders, THEN bind and then I’ll be done! Looking forward to seeing your creation! Thx!
Hello, l have been watching your posts and wondering are you still current, and have I maybe missed any latest vlogs? I live up country in Western Australia and until it gets cooler, just watch you, but itching to try qayg, I am self taught and not precise so am hoping to do just one or two same blocks with a small sewing machine, at 78. Thank you for allowing me/and others to plod along ❤️ o rushing, just enjoying myself ❤

I’m about to add borders to a panel section so this is great! Gives me another option for finishing it. 🥰🥰🥰 love your channel.

Thank you so much, I'm in the process of writing a book, I keep getting sidetracked though, hopefully it will be finished by the end of the year.

Thank you so much! I may now just finish the quilt with a binding.

I am a beginner QAUG, even though an intermediate quilter(piecing). In what order would you recommend I watch your videos?
