It's very difficult to spot a nurse or doctor, as all staff - orderlies, nurses, doctors - are dressed in designer bin-bags. But this is a politically correct rejection of tradition on the part of management (preferring high fives instead of a handshake) There's something comforting about a nurse who looks like a nurse and a doctor who looks like a doctor.
How are scrubs better for infection control? It's already been proven that the colorful scrubs retain bacteria even after wash, unlike the white uniforms that were bleached.
I was a nurse's aide in the early 1970's. Our nurses wore either white dresses or white pantsuit, with the hats. Each hat had a different color band or shape according to the nursing school that they graduated from. I sort of miss that. I think the caps show authority.
The reason why I research this video because I accompany my father to his medical laboratory in the hospital. Nowadays all nurse and hospital staff are wearing scrub suit uniform but I noticed that there is only one nurse wearing 1970 uniform. At first when I saw her i laughed because she's wearing an outdated obsolete nurse uniform until I realize that she's a ghost in the hospital.
Is it weird I still rock the dress and hat? 👨⚕️🤷
That’s funny
I miss wearing white scrub suit with a hat.I felt like I'm really a nurse.
🥰
I want the old back ... when nurses were real n old school
🥰😃
The latest ones gave a janitor feel. I want the old style back
We are using it
Scrubs might be best for hygeine and infection control, but jeez ... What a major decline in style. It's like falling off a cliff.
Smiles 😀😅

Ohhh is that so
The old uniforms are the best, I hate the one after 1990
Surprised they started with the 1940s, should have gone back to the very first uniforms, which were modeled after nun habits.
👌🏻👌🏻👏👏❤️❤️
❤️❤️
What was the purpose of the hat?
The nursing cap symbolizes the goal of the nurse, which is to provide "service to those in need."
Should show the 2023 leggings tight scrub pants with every seen of tucked in scrub top showing through lol
Lol
