Directly behind the hotel is dangerous, but to the side is a swimmable beach. Only swim in the designated area as your feet will sink in the sand and the current is very strong in the non swimming areas. The pools are infinity pools and incredible. I love the ocean, but did not miss out staying in the pools overlooking the ocean and hearing the waves.
How did you feel about the dining plan at the end? We have seen mixed reviews about it being restrictive and will be there in a month and are thinking about doing the plan.
You pay a lot for all inclusive, but then you get a wrist band and you then eat and drink as much as you desire as often as you desire. The first time we prepaid, the second visit we had to ask there and paid.
Hmmm. 170 about plus 15% tax plus 16% service fees came to 222 per adult usd. I have to look up child price. When you look at $15 for continental breakfast or $40.00 for all you can taste of a lot of different buffet and made to order options I always wanted the real full breakfast. Then a smoothy or two on the beach. A drink or three during the day 4 to 6 waters. Splurge on steak or seafood tacos for lunch, then dinner with appetizer and desert it was worth it. If you skip the alcohol and appetizers and deserts, you are cheaper without the all inclusive. .. let me see if i have a photo of the price lists.
$170/day and it doesn't include breakfast?! For 5 days that's $1700! I could do a 7 day cruise on the Carnival Firenze in a balcony cabin and still go to Cabo and have all meals and snacks included. Crazy expensive for all-inclusive. Sucks cause we own HGVC and points to spend before the end of the year.
I want to say we paid about 40$ each direction. I don’t really remember. You are surrounded once you leave customs with everyone offering travel to hotels. Just flow with it. Stay hydrated and happy.
Wow beautiful place❤
Yes! I think so too! Was wonderful
Is the beach there swimmable? Meaning not deep after walking in 10 ft and not big waves?

@@wherewendytravels no thanks . I need to swim in an ocean when on vacation.

If you drink and if you want the taste of appetizers and desert, I recommend it. Watch my video on the food and you will see menu prices.
You seem to focus on the rocky beach area and not the sandy one. Why would you do that?
I found it beautiful. So different than beaches anywhere else. Swim in the smooth area and have eye candy of the smooth rocky area.
How did you get it all inclusive?? I’ve stayed twice on the Hilton side and we’ve always had to pay in addition to our food.
At check in you ask for it.

@@wherewendytravelshow much per adult for all inclusive?
How much is the all inclusive for a family?

Were there volleyball courts at the beach/property?
Not courts per say, but there is one net put up every day on the beach

Is 170 plus 30% per person per day. 15% goes to hotel staff and 16% is some resort tax.
You can convert to hilton points. La Fiesta Americana is nice too on points. We also went to Park City Utah with points recently
@@wherewendytravels you can pay the all inclusive with points?
@@rubenc3976 they have gone back on forth on that. We paid with half points our first trip. You have to double check with them.
What was the weather there? How far is the airport from HGV?
Highs near 79. Lows near 69. I think the cab ride was 25 minutes
