Love your videos and advice. Watched your “10 Mistakes to avoid when buying ski gear” video. Got a pair of skis with bindings and boots for under $700.00. Still trying to find some poles. Haven’t found anything in the used market for under $30.00. I know I don’t really need the poles but I’m a beginner skier and I just feel more confident with the poles. Can’t wait to get on the slopes!
Is VÖLKL Revolt Junior Wasp skis that are brand new with bindings 199€ worth it for 11 year old first skis but he can already hit some jumps
Love the videos man you do a great job keep up the good work
Thank you!
Nice advice. My first skis I got were demo skis from a resort toward the end of the year, they were banged up and I suspect they had a lot of days on them, but it was such a great choice. So much less expensive.
I wish I could go to a ski swap but it is challenging because it is t like every city has one.
Also I like how you pointed out it is going to take you a while to figure out what kind of skiing you gravitate towards, so true! Good idea for beginners and intermediates to get a ski that does lots of things pretty well and not a specialized ski.
A demo ski is perfect to start on! Especially for younger kids who's boot size may change year to year
I just bought used skis. They are K2 Reckoner 92’s and good bindings. They also came with perfect sized skii boots and it was only 350€.
This video would've been great this summer, I did 70% of these things haha
i started skiing in 2020-2021 season and but only went a couple of time so i had rentals that time. The next season i got my own skis and they lasted me 2 season (last season was my last) until i grew out of them and it was only 200€ for skis and bindings (i was around 140ish cm tall), i had revolt jr and marker vmotion 7 bindings. So it was fairly inexpensive setup. For the next season i got a more expensive skis and bindings which cost 450€ euros combine, skis are völkl revolt 95 which i got on discount for 280€.
are you going to do another subscriber clips/fails compilation before this season starts?
tru
Just a couple more weeks
just do what i did, and win a pair of skis. then buy last years gear at a steep discount.
Tip 1 don’t buy 177 Vishnus
NS misses you my guy
