SAU is not a place for those who wants to study. It is for those who want only politics. Students from science dept suffers there. Some so called *students* from other depts just want politics. Better go and join your Lal salam brigade and do politics there. Leave SAU and let others study.
8 lakhs + more is huge by any standards and you need to show good results and keep the flock together. Utilisation of financial resources is what needs to be looked into . Students will probably agitate , but no violence no destruction of property etc . Peaceful demonstrations should b acceptable . If the GB has not met since 2017 , they need to do so immediately or else they should pack up and go .
As a former student of SAU....my heart breaks down seeing this....I have some great memories of SAU ( jasne azaadi, language day , persian new year and of course south asians as roomates).....i hope everything gets sorted soon
As a former student from South Asian University, such instances of student discrimination and expulsion keeps reoccuring whenever the students decide to protest against higher demand for scholarships. The administration continues to give excuses about the GB not being conducted but the Admin and Professors continue to draw tax free salaries and enjoy financial privileges without any accountability. As usual students continue to suffer in this place.
This kind of treatment is so common in all deemed universities. Infact there is no RTI act too in any of them and the central givernment allows it. Atleast here students could protest non violently. Why is that everything that happens in self financed institutions and deemed universities never brought to the lime light but is just an accepted norm? Will the press ever have an entry in any of the deemed universities and look into the utter degradation of education with faux marks, faux attendence for students and forgery in every administration act of faculty, salary and research publications! How will just one institution when exposed lead to the change and reformation when that's the way education system functions in India since the millenium.
What technical issues stopped the GB meeting from getting held for 5yrs.?
Such a disgrace!! The admin should meet the demand of the students!!
I hope the students get their rightful dues!

Shame on SAU admin. Their attitude is not just insensitive but shows no intention of reaching a common understanding.
The high handedness of SAU admin is disgraceful.
We support students
