without a doubt, this is one of the best songs made by kevin, the way of how the guitar sounds in this song is amazing, it's a shame that it is not available on spotify to make part of my playlist
I remember putting this song on loop all my junior year of HS 2014, id listen to this song and daze off into a perfect place. I forgot this song existed till just now. I’m 24 now and the world has gotten so bleak, but this song is still perfect.

There is a podcast called Entertopia, Episode 6 Lonerism, that discusses this song 😃 How I wish this was included on the album as well as Beverly Laurel! ❤M
Bryan Figueroa totally agreed, although I could definitely see both of them making the cut. Zepp right before sjwbm. I just have to admire sjwbm for the things it does to the timing of the album you know?
Can anyone who knows more music theory than I do explain to me what makes the riff so Zeppelin-like? What intervals or scales are giving off that vibe?
Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin was known for these repetitive riffs that went along with the drums. The two strings he’s playing to get that little harmony also sound very similar to Page’s style. Check out Led Zeppelin songs like Houses of The Holy, The Ocean, or even Misty Mountain Hop. They all kinda employ the same repetitive riffs that Jimmy Page tends to groove to.
Yeah i agree, songs like tea for one (intro) are a good example of Dylon said. The two note riffs that play along/against the back beat, albeit taken to the extreme in that track. getting that page vibe really is in the phrasing, and how jimmy plays, with an almost loose confidence that can at times sound perfectly messy
Not an expert but the bass follows along the rhythm of the guitar, especially in the last part of the proggression where it completely follows the guitar note-for-note. Very similar to John Paul Jones' playing like in 'houses of the holy'.
@@ksiazepaweek1064 Drum style isn’t tone or mixing, it’s based off rhythms, Bonham played very powerful and had a very prominent bass drum which is what you hear in the song, you can’t say it’s not Bonham cuz he’s not using his exact drum tone
@@sherwintavarez8539 Tone is part of your style, can u tell me where u got off rhytms in the song? I can't hear your powerful aswell, kevin uses 18'' yamaha it doesnt even come close to bonham kick.

I'm obsessed with this song. They captured Led Zeppelin so well
Boxcar8008 he. Tame Impala’s only technically a group live- it’s all Kevin Parker in the studio

This song is from an alternate dimension where John Lennon is the lead singer of Led Zeppelin
This song is truly HD!

unfair, thats the word
Swan Johnson it's a great song but doesn't fit the vibe of Lonerism
Jack Z keep on lying is a fantastic song!!
It actually is on the album, it’s just not on Spotify lol
One of the best songs on Lonerism, no cap
It's not on Lonerism though, unless you count bonus tracks.

I’m a huge zeppelin fan and I’ve listened to zeppelin my whole life and I’m telling you, this is impressive how similar this is to the Led Zeppelin.
Dat bass doe
The bass in conjunction with the guitar riff at 02:57 sounds incredible.
I am in love with this songgggg♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ THANK YOU Kevin for creating this masterpiece!!!

The vocals between 2:05 and 2:15 remind me of Michael Jackson and they sound so fucking good
I love this song
their best song. it fucking RIPS
Wish the vocals were longer
lol I remember going to tha feds in 2016 and I couldn’t wait to hear this song again 😂
This is a fucking good song

It’s like a modern Beatles song!
Maravilhoso....
Why is this not on Spotify ?!
Luis Andres ML I’m pretty sure it’s an Apple Music exclusive 😔
Salió en iTunes
what led zeppelin song was this again?
It’ tame impala doing like a tribute to Led Zeppelin which is one of his favorite bands also he’s been likened to if John Lennon joined Led Zeppelin
Tame Impala Reedo
I believe this one was Tame Impala by Led Zeppelin. Pretty cool how they dedicated a song to smaller, up and coming artist :)
Por fin está en Spotify!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Es verdad, gracias a tu comentario 🤟🤟
I dont see it what is the reason ?
Donde?
@@franco1072 estaba en spotify, pero la sacaron 😔
this seems more like a innerspeaker track
ranch nah it’s way better produced and way more trippy like Lonerism. vibrato on everything 🤩
The reverb’s pretty Lonerism-Like as well as the vocals
The whole guitar sound IS Lonerism
I must respectfully disagree as well (deff a left over off Lonerism ) but ay i love innerspeaker more than Lonerism fs 🤷🏻♂️👀
mainly because this was pretty much recorded before the rest of the lonerism songs this was recorded in late 2011 if im not mistaken
As a Spotify user I didn't even realise this song existed
Just found out it existed today bro. Such a dope song
WHY IS THIS STILL NOT ON SPOTIFY
@Name Face wow! just listened to it thank youuu! you're right they give me tame impala vibes!
Better and more original homage than whole Greta Van Fleet project :P
That band just copies Led Zeppelin.
For real
can't find this on Spotify

Love this so much but is this Robert Plant if so he sounds different but awesome
This is Kevin Parker

It's a b-side off of Lonerism, it didn't make the cut but it's still a really good song.
good acid trip
Wow listen to the solo from 3:08
the guitar and bass sounds like led zepellin
the drums and voice sounds like beatles

Name of song?
Shame i cant put it on my spotify playlist but oh well

The vocals are a dead ringer for John Lennon. Not the first time or song I've heard the resemblance.
fredfukkinbear kikkinnigass first time my friend showed me tame imapala I asked him if jon lennon was singing😂
