      No idea, but why not? It's probably a standard bottom bracket. Mixed metal parts have no impact on choice of BB .

    What is your personal prefer this bike vs k3?

    • @bogdandebuzau
      @bogdandebuzau  4 месяца назад +1

      It is more comfortable and better designed and better quality for the same price. K3 is just a cheap bike selled at a high price. Those rims and spokes are a joke. A very noisy one!!! But that is another story... They are made for kids, and so is the whole bike. K3 is really fast (suitable for well-trained adults) and light (because it's made for the height and weight of kids only, especially the handlebar which is extremely low), but those wheels??? I have to use the spoke key after each couple of hours of riding this bicycle. And my weight is below 70 kg. I wonder how a heavier rider would deal with it... I still like it for its speed. But the lack of comfort at my height (185m) and the noise of the spokes that rub against the rims that change their form when they are pressed, and the waste of time for maintenance (readjusting the wheels) makes it almost unusable...

      @bogdandebuzau K3 is the evolution of dove uno, which is designed for Asian as a mini city commuter which stores easily inside an apartment and offices but not as costly as Brompton, and dahon uno-styled foldies under 16 inch isn't suitable for tall guys over 1.8m, if still considering small foldies it's better to looking for 18 inches higher or Brompton clones which has longer wheelbase
      And I don't think decathlon will totally obliterate this, as K3 feels like a JDM in 90s while the decathlon might feels like a twingo

    Thank you for taking the time to do this. I have had mine since June and love it! It’s such a lovely ride, comfortable and is surprisingly fact and tackles hills so well. Both the fold and the bag mechanism are genius, as original as Brompton and only a little larger. Can I ask you which mirror you’ve installed?

    • @bogdandebuzau
      @bogdandebuzau  10 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you. Unfortunately, I can't remember the brand or the model. I went to a bike shop and looked for a small mirror with a wide angle of view and adjustable position that won't interfere with the folding mechanism or the transportation of the bicycle. I liked this one the most. But, due to vibrations, it randomly changes its position because the strap doesn't have enough settings for properly attaching it without the risk of breaking the strap. Apparently, this type of mirror requires readjusting the position when needed. A better option may be the RearViz mirror (or something similar), which can be attached to your wrist or arm.

    • @bogdandebuzau
      @bogdandebuzau  10 месяцев назад +1

      @meera6024 I've got more folding bikes. I like this one the most for its higher handlebars and the easier access to the inner tubes. It isn't neither the fastest folding bike that I own, nor the easiest to ride (because its derailleur is too close to the ground), but I'm glad that I've got it instead of the Strida Evo 3S which I was about to buy. (I've never considered buying a Brompton. Actually, the Fold Light 1" may be a not bad at all alternative.)

    • @meera6024
      @meera6024 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@bogdandebuzau I also like the high handlebars, I think position wise it’s my most comfortable folder and yes easy access the tubes is a big plus, great for weekend trips away. I do have a Brompton and see it as a really good alternative for shorter trips especially.

    • @bogdandebuzau
      @bogdandebuzau  6 месяцев назад

      The handlebar is not adjustable in height. It is only foldable and designed for taller riders than all those folding bikes that come from Asia. Maybe the position of my hands is different. Sometimes, I only rest my fingertips on the handlebars to be as close to a vertical position as possible. I wish the handlebars were even higher...
