About 30 seconds seems to make a difference in the taste. I found it worked best when there was more oil in the wok than less, as it is igniting the oil vapour.
@@billcooks Thanks! Will try again. The first time I was dissatisfied as I didn't get anywhere close to the wok hei taste. It did impart some burnt-out flavor though.
