- Walking in Nerja, Spain (Andalusia) through the city center with its cozy shopping, dining and bar streets on a summer night in July 2021. We will see an amazing view over the sea at the balcony of Europe (Balcón de Europa). During our walk the football game between Spain and Denmark took place and many people were excited over the victory of the Spain national football team. Experience local nightlife with people dining out. Nerja is a municipality on the Costa del Sol in the province of Málaga in the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. It is part of the comarca of La Axarquía and famous for its Balcón de Europa, from where you can look over the Mediterranean sea. This spot is one of the most popular places in Andalucía, perfect to take a photo of the sea, or with the statue of the late king Alfonso XII who actually named this balcony after the big earthquake that hit Nerja in 1884. @@miquelsoler8733 ich mag auch Paella 🥘 und wenn du was gegen Würstchen hast, dann brauchst es ja nicht essen :) und auch als nicht-Deutscher mag ich Bier und Würstchen & Sauerkraut (vor allem im Smoothie). Meine Heimatgerichte aus Japan liebe ich jedoch etwas mehr!

@@JapanPotato God first time I was in nerja I was 9 back in 1998 for the world cup, watched the final between France and brazil in a bar in the tutti frutti with my mam and dad and cousins. I'm now 32 , the streets and buildings still all look the same. Thank you for this video. Been there many times since 1998 on holidays in school but not been here since 2014. Maybe I'll get back soon. Seeing the football on reminds me of all the disappointments that happened when I was in Spain during a tournament , euro 2000 when the spanish lost to France, you could hear a pin drop in the balcon de Europa and then again lost to France in the 2006 world cup 😭😅 but Spain eventually came good in 2008 and 2010. Viva espannnna
Very happy that I gave you some flashbacks! I visited Nerja for the first time last year and immediately fell in love with it! It’s not too compact and full of life! :) The beaches and food is amazing, too! Can’t wait to go back this year.

I lived in Nerja 1 year 1999 by Rio Chillar a short while and in an apartment by balcony Europe 150euro pr month all included. Wow so much is changed now there , have become crowded with tourists and so many new shops

he city was very beautiful, Mediterranean, almost all shops were open, but with the celebrations of the soccer game of the Spanish team, very few people are observed in the street, except in the bars where there were televisions to watch the game. Ein super Video. Nerja und die Umgebung ist einfach traumhaft. Für mich geht es am 23. August für zwei Wochen nach Nerja. Natürlich geimpft. Wird sicherlich ein schöner Urlaub werden, wie immer in Nerja. Ich freue mich schon riesig darauf.

Amazing how you can spot the foreigner, usually, in Spain. Their style of dress is always a give away, unless you try to blend in. I like blending in...besides, I am of Spanish and Portuguese descent. I love Spain now...

@@JapanPotato but it's just mainly Spanish who are there same as most of the Spanish resorts have looked at live cams of several resorts and they so quiet because of china virus

Anyways, local atmosphere is also great. I bet from next year there will be tourists from everywhere again.
