Every acoustic guitar demo should be made like this , different style of playing, strumming, picking, a selection of microphones and a band mix, stunning job!!! Thank you
Loved you playing with the backing track. It shows exactly how it would sound in a live environment. I wish other guitar demos would do this as well. Thanks again. 🍺🍺
That thing sounds amazing. I looked at one at a shop yesterday and thought I was imagining it's quality tones. Over the Epiphone DT-100 it was bar none the winner. I've been learning on an inherited Gibson J-45 but have decided to preserve the Gibson in favor of a less quality guitar, and would like to put it away for awhile while I learn more. Right now with my abilities I'd put the Yamaha against the Gibson anytime.
Nice guitar! I finally bit the bullet and I got a yamaha fg800m, and I'm really happy with it! Sounds and feels great out of the box, but the action is a bit high, so I will have to adjust that or bring it to somebody to setup. The finish on the body has some imprefections, and the tuners are obviously just cheap tuners. They keep tune decently, but the tuning ratio is obviously very low. I guess they have to cut cost somehow to keep the price low, so I can't really complain. Those are the only little things I have to complain about, but they are not deal breakers. If it had better tuning machines, bone nut and saddle, a bit more work with the finishing on the body, and a better setup out of the box, they could in my opinion be more comparable to some higher end guitars in their feel and quality. Like comparable perhaps to the godin guitars,, or to the low end models of martin and taylor perhaps.
I always felt that Yamaha makes the best sounding and playing entry level guitars. Really solid acoustic guitars.
Agreed

Thank you! Glad to hear that we're doing something different with our videos compared to the rest of RUclips. Expect more acoustic demos soon!

I own one in the sandstone color. It's a great guitar for the money. Very easy to play with a terrific sound.
Well done, perfect demo. Greetings from Germany
Great review!

Great starting point for a serviceable acoustic guitar.
Sounds great 👍
I have a FG830 that has the Rosewood back and sides. To be sounds better than the D-28 I played at the Martin Factory Tour.

I also have an LL6M ARE.
With a good setup, these guitars are quite serviceable.
I really really want one if these cause it looks like Elliott Smiths discontinued one 😢
Vs jr2, what is better to get ?!
To me my FG800 is my martin and i would never play it on the beach its far from being cheap
