Sure, censorship is required to play in certain venues... but to me, censoring lyrics is just as much selling out as having vevo ads. This is the paradox I was pointing out.
If the word "FUCK"is in Immortal Technique's lyrics, then he purposely intended for the listener to experience hearing the word "FUCK" for a reason. Taking the word out changes how the artist designed his message to be received. Lyric censorship is art alteration.
